Yes, and Yes.
I have stapled two each of these barcodes to the top right hand corner of my claim forms, which will be sent recorded delivery tomorrow.

I think they've sussed this one out.

Went back into my local PCworld tonight and all of the Scotch stuff which qualified for the Apprentice offer had gone back up to full price.

It was all under £1 yesterday.

The Scotch desk set had also gone back up to full price.

I think Scotch may have had some words with them! Someone in the chain is losing a lot of money, and it isn't me!!!

I think it'd be PCWorld losing the money if you ask me. They buy from Scotch for £x and sell for £x+y. They buy lots so Scotch do exclusive packs (and versions of promos.) for them.

In this case, PCWorld have decided to reduce stationery stocks and therefore y is a negative number.

Yes but Scotch would also 'loose' money in the form of reduced profits:
Scotch made the promotion based on past PC World sales at the full price. They calculated a certain amount of redemption within the time frame.
Now PC World has reduced prices so low that Scotch will have a massive influx of legitimate claims before the deadline at the end of this month and will pay out maybe twice what they anticipated on the promotion!

So for these particular packs, PC World looses out as they are selling below cost (most likely) and Scotch looses out as they also pay out more than they would in normal circumstances.

How does that affect me? Well I get paid to take the stuff off them :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I have been waiting for these to go down for ages now. I was checking on a regular basis, and thought they might have gone down with the others at the weekend, but no luck.

Thank you for this.

I did one of the collect from store orders online and went to the one miles from me to pick up - NONE of the items were actually in stock anymore despite the online system saying they were. A young shop assistant told me that the staff had had anything of any use to carboot or ebay and that this was happening quite a lot.

Still - got two boxes of 500 DL envelopes for £2.47 ea!
