HOK3Y found 21 pence, not a 21p coin......so no the COIN was not a FAKE as it was not a coin she found. As she said she found 21pence..... this could be a twenty pence piece and 1p, or 2 ten pence pieces and 1p, etc.

Thanks Aesop - I think maybe I misunderstood and DS was teasing me. I'm sorry, it has been a long, rough week in the office! But it HAS been a bumper roadkill week so that has at least made it a little better!

Heading out in a few minutes to do our weekly shop and I would very much like to come back with at least another coin of some kind. We do have over £4 of vouchers to take off our bill which is pretty darn cool!

no roadkill so far, but haven't been out much at lunchtimes and DS is quite eagle eyed! I have trained him too well.....:rotfl:

Have you read the book about the woman who lived on £1 a day for a year? she found about £200 in roadkill during that year, she wrote a cheque to a charity for that amount at the end of her year's experiment.

I was inspired by HOK3Y to hunt for roadkill and found 45p under the lockers at work!

On plus side just filled my sainsburys online basket full off offers with £15 off 1st spend, cost £2.99 delivery so counting savings of £12.01.

Also been to fill up car this morning £85.01 :eek: but got £5 morrisson miles voucher thou :beer:

Not much else to say, loads to sell just need motivation, called debt management this morning for advice and basically not much choice going forward suffer and grin and bear it for 5-6 years or ruin my chance of ever moving back closer to my family until debt is paid . Not updated signature but debt topping 30k at moment :eek:

Need a hug if anyone got one going spare Will find the light at the end of the tunnel somehow ...........

Well, you are the inspiration today and it has now paid off TWICE in one day......we have started taking a wander through A$da on the way home from the train station to search for receipts and this was where I found the 5p in the ticket machine earlier. BUT! We just went back to do our weekly shop and, again, I decided to check all the machines......found a 50p in the first one! Plus we found 2 large receipts to check for vouchers. Pretty good haul!

Yay! I love hearing that! I tell you, the first step to finding a chunk of roadkill is the absolute belief that there are tons of coins lying around out there......and there are! Right now, in your town, there are probably thousands of coins on the floor, in crevices, hidden in grass/bushes. You just have to look where they might roll and no-one else thinks or cares to search for them!
