You're right, '...through the courts' is correct. I'll amend and send.0

In two weeks time I may have some more evidence that witness statements are no more than a pile of potential compost.
If so, I'll post here and you can update the POPLA appeal with the new evidence.
This of course assumes the timings I have been given are accurate, which, uh, has never been the case so far with the body I am dealing with.
PS. Nice pic Kirkbyinfurnesslad :-)Hi, we’ve approved your signature. It's awesome. Please email the forum team if you want more praise - MSE ForumTeam0 -

Result: POPLA allowed my appeal, but didn't address the points I raised to them, instead they addressed the point I made to UKPC.
I've added it to the POPLA decisions thread:

What a shame the contract element wasn't adjudicated upon and the appeal granted on GPEOL elements originally sent to UKPC.
It seems the POPLA aren't too keen on testing other singular appeal points then! - No doubt if all the various contract elements were really delved into - not many PPC's would have the legal authority to issue parking charges.0 -
I can't believe it - in my latest appeal to UKPC I simply put:
"I am not liable for this charge. Either cancel it or issue a POPLA code"
and they allowed the appeal!
It's ok though, I've got another one on the go so I'll see if I can get another POPLA code with that one.0 -
Strange reaction indeed - they've probably cottoned on to who you are and what you're doing then - if you get the chance to appeal again include in the No contract with landowner their process for obtaining contracts on their website - (process section)0

I'm in the same boat with Met Parking Services.
They allowed an earlier appeal even before I sent one! Bunch of muppets!
Finally managed to get them to dismiss the latest "offence" appeal and now have my POPLA code. The word "gullible" isn't in the dictionaryTickets: 19 [cancelled: 18, paid: 0, pending: 1]
PPC Appeals: 8 [accepted: 2, rejected: 5, pending: 1]
POPLA: 4 [accepted: 4, rejected: 0, pending: 0]0 -
DR+ have now sent me a 'Letter before referral for legal action' for a ticket I ignored back in April 2012!
(for newbies, the advice of 'ignore' was still relevant back then but not any more).
I'm fully aware that this is another empty threat and can safely ignore DR+, but I'm tempted now to start my own proceedings against DR+, UKPC and the management company of the block of flats for harassment. Has anyone done this before and can offer advice, and whether this approach will actually work?0 -
There have been a couple. one currently going on with Parking Eye and another with New Generation Parking.
