Think I've just quit my job

I'm not sure how you would go about becoming a trainee mortgage advisor I'm afraid, as it's not something I've ever done - I've always worked for a bank, in the mortgage or approvals department. But if you need to know anything 'technical' about mortgages etc, I might know the answer, and can probably find out if not."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

When i was 'relieved' from an agency job for some mind numbing work for a total tool of a boss, I stopped at my pc on the way out and permanently deleted all the work I had been doing over the past 2 months. I still smile to myself when I picture him looking for the spreadsheet with all the data on it..."I have enough money to last me the rest of my life, unless I buy something."0

Just a thought but there's quite a few mortgage advisors go on the House Buying, Renting, Selling & Prices board - they might be able to give you some pointers."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

sammy115... you're my hero! I know that's not a very DFW thing to say but I am so impressed. There's been so many times I've wanted to do what you did but have been too scared. You brave lady!
I'm sure everything will work out for the best - it will give you a chance to figure out what you really want to do. Good luck!Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 550

Well done, made a career out of quitting jobs, think I walked out of five, most satisfying was punching a former boss, (we made up), you spend far too much of your life at work to spend it stressed, get a less paid, more rewarding job, study, get your allowances, whatever it takes, I am on half of what I have earned in the past and live very frugally, more time with my kids and more fun when I do. No more shall I work for the flash car, over sized house and headache inducing imported beer and low quality cannabis

Hi Sammy!
It will all work out for the best - it usually does; sometimes it just takes something dramatic to force the issue. And now you've done that, hopefully you'll feel more confident in the next thing you do.

Good Luck Sammy!!!! :j
And don't forget that your old boss can't give you a bad reference by law. Ok, he might refuse, but it's unlikely. He may have realised just how happy you were all along.
