• Does anyone know if I was to place an online order for 20 toys ranging from £9.99 to £69.99 if the 'free' toys would be the cheapest toys in my order?

I guess I am asking is it best to group orders together in 3's (ie 3 at £9.99, 3 at £19.99 etc)
Wins:Smyths Gift Vouchers, Sat Nav, £100 Next Gift Vouchers, £250 Dunelm Mill Gift Vouchers, £720 D&G Perfume, £200 Asda Vouchers, Johnnie Walker Gleneagles Tickets, Edinburgh Virgin Festival Fireworks Tickets, Givenchy Dahlia Noir Perfume Set, Long Weekend in St Petersburg, Russia, £250 Selfridges Vouchers, £3000 Family Trip To LAPLAND!!!!

The £9.99 one's would be free, for the best savings do separate transactions.

I just though I'd mention, its not just toys at £9.99 or over which work with the 342.

my order was -

DesignaFriend doll £9.99
DesignaFriend accessory £6.99
DesignaFriend accessory £6.99 (but went through as £0.00 on the 342).

total to pay = £16.98

Just been in and collects my stuff and thèy still applied the discount for the 2 for 15 and 2 for 30 offers as well as 3 for 2 so I saved more money again happy days :)

Hey skintsaver, this sounds awesome. Can I ask if you paid for your reservation via the cashier or the machine?
Has anyone else successfully had both discounts applied?

I tried the 2 for £15 last year and it didn't work
• i got 3 things.

2 @ £9.99 on offer 1 for £15
1 @ £12.99

it just went thro 3 for 2 on mine today.

got a reduced car at 2.99 and at first it knocked that off as the free one so did it separate.
• I have been online to order toys one of which was lego and not too my surprise the lego deluxe sets are out of stock. Rather annoying, but I find that items advertised in argos on special offers are never in stock why advertise it.
• don't know if it'll help at all but if the items you want are out of stock in your local store, it may be worth trying ebay argos outlet as they have the 3 for 2 offer on as well. (although you have to pay seperate postage for each item, including the free 1)

The things I wanted have gone up in price (go to the bottom of the page and you'll see what the previous price was) and the three things are £13 more than buying elsewhere. I know you're all mse types so aren't daft but be careful.
• Anyone going for the Furby Boom or teksta robots dog, these are down to £39.99 each on Amazon today
