as i posted on lego thread be careful as if youre buying lego its all hiked up to rrp

it was cheaper for me to buy off amazon for the 3 items i wanted

Just been in and collects my stuff and thèy still applied the discount for the 2 for 15 and 2 for 30 offers as well as 3 for 2 so I saved more money again happy days

the argos 3 for 2 sale isn't what it seems, you just think it is,
LEGO Creator 5560 Large Pink Brick Box £16.66 on amazon, yet its £24.99 on argos, even with the 3 for 2 it works out exactly the same price so your not getting anything free as such.

just another ploy by retailers to dupe you in thinking your getting a great deal. yes you may make some savings on things but overall just shop around for best prices

I think it depends on what you are buying, obviously you need to compare with other places but I do that anyway.
I have just bought an innotab 3s, a bike and got a scooter free, so for me it was a bargain because I couldn't get these cheaper anywhere else at the moment.

Just ordered the kids Christmas presents! I was looking for a bike for each of them, I saw one I liked at Argos half price, then realised it was 3 for 2 on toys! So I got a half price one for my son, and a free Lego Friends Olivias House for free. Happy days!

Thanks op I managed to get a cabbage patch doll boy version that daughter has put on her list this year (to befriend her cabbage patch girl doll lol), uno blast for my daughter and got the best of British game £29.99 for free. I also picked up 2 disney dvds which are currently on offer of bogof again and paid with my park vouchers that ive saved up this year so I didnt actually part with any cash

I do this every year, I reserved my items last night and this morning two items had reduced in price, none had increased. Yes I know that I could possibly get some of the items cheaper but time is limited for us so to be able to get them all in one place, all done and dusted within a few hours, it actually works out cheaper to do it that way, than incorporate my time into it when I could be working.
