brrr its snowing here, and really cold , but after stoking up our stove we are snuggly and warm :)

It was my saturday to work worst luck, so was hair raising doing my first drive up our lane to the road in the snow, wasnt too deep thankfully

Ive done the cleaning, and couldnt resist account tidy, and £83.29 overpayment to the mortgage, rounding it to a neat £242, 500 :T

Im looking forward to getting into the £230s, its so satisfing getting below the next number, or is that just me? :D
Ive got a early valentines treat night for hubby planned tonight, seeing as he is working tuesday, got a few valentine treats from aldi, and im treating him to a nice tea, beef wellington, treacle sponge and fancy custard for afters, lot came in under £20 , well we have got a mortgage to pay off and land /fencing to sort :rotfl:

The quote has finally come in for the workshop repair, not as much as we were fearing, so may be enough to sort the roof too in the coffers, thats next job to get quote for that

Have a lovely snuggly weekend everyone :)

  • Good luck with the garden clearance, your plans sound great. Fingers crossed the weather is kind to you. I managed a lovely afternoon in the sunshine today clearing leaves and tidying up borders after the winter. Definitely felt a little springlike :T

we had a lovely weekend, one of my favourite parts was flinging the be droom windows wide, and listening to the birds dawn chorus, so tranquil, especially snuggled listening with cuppaa under duvet, a brilliant start to any early morning weekend:)

Made a £100 overpayment tonight, so new balance now £242,400 :)

Nearly payday, we have a lot of outgoings next month, stockfencing and workshop stonework repair, we have also purchased chainsaw, large strimmer, log splitting tools and wheel barrows, we have to buy large ladders too as house guttering choked with moss, and we are going to tackle this ourselves. Hubby would rather we bought good ladders that we can use again and again, rather than pay some handy man same ammount for just one gutter clearance.:)

We have plenty of tasks to get stuck into this year, we have a two year plan to get land/fencing/out buildings something like, then phase 2 is animals :T

I plan to save as much as we can whilst we are doing this over the 2 years, for phase 2 of our plans, we are going to be busy, but we love it!
