sunny but really cold here this morning, snow from yesterday morning still frozen to the land, hope it melts away soon .
I'm going to have a walk up our lane with doggy, take rubbish up to the bins (cant believe I have a countryside stroll to the bins, I fffeel lucky just taking my rubbish out! lol) :j
Its housework day, then date night tonight. Will be a no spend weekend, I'm aiming to save very penny possible over the next week to make another overpayment If possible, then hopefully will also be able to make £150 overpayment on payday, hubby has done a lot of overtime this month, all cash after bill money will be divided as usual between emergency fund, savings and overpayment

We have stuck to calorie allowance today, we allow a few extra calories at the weekend for a couple of drinks, and a treat. Hubby had bakewell tart from Aldi, which he said was lovely, and I had a couple of fun size dairymilks left from xmas

NSD , and another £2 into my giant whisky bottle, also put 2 x £2 in there yesterday
We had a fencing contractor out yesterday to price up stage one of our stock fencing(the longest and probably the most expensive area) .
I'm nervously awaiting his quote, we have saved a lump from the leftover sales money, but I'm hoping to also use this towards starting repairs to our workshop stonework that is desperate for some tlc before it collapses !
Hopefully we will get a reasonable costing this week, and hope to get it done for the end of February.
Not a lot happening financially, accounts all as they should be, just awaiting our paydays next week, hopefully we will be able to save/overpay a good lump this month, as hubby has got quite a decent amount of overtime in this month bless him

My payday today. Made £150 overpayment, new balance now £243,380
£2 to add to my giant whisky bottle today, and £150 p.bonds for emergency bought, new emergency / p.bond total now £500 :j
All direct debits accounted for this month, on Friday when hubby gets paid, next months bill money will be transferred to the relevant accounts, and c.card paid for food/petrol /clothes etc costs for this month.

I think they are a fun way of saving, its exciting checking if you have won every month, and you can cash them in whenever you need the money back very easily .

Hubbys payday today, and after all money put into relevant accounts, leftover cash allocated to our savings pots, we have savings accounts set up for these..:)
We have had a good savings month, I don't think we will be able to save as much if anything in February, as fencing and workshop repairs to pay (still awaiting fence quotes)

We have had a builder out this morning to look at the work on our stone workshop, it is quite a task, a full weeks work he says, depending on everything going to plan (mmmmm)...
So now, we are awaiting quote for stockfencing one side of our land (still!!), and this guys quite for the workshop, we re predicting it aint going to be cheap!:eek:
