    :(

Had a lovely week off, as well as time to relax and have time together, we also painted our living room, stairs and landing, just some finishing off to do glossing etc this weekend..:)

This week ive worked 5 hours overtime training new member of staff, so that will help towards our savings next month.:j

This month all our spare cash we usually save will go on years tax, mot, timing belt and water pump for our car, and daughters birthday, at least we have the cash due to hard work and careful budgeting, and dont have to dip into our savings, and the car is necessity for work ;)

Im back on my diet, im determined to lose 14lbs, done well this week, and two gym classes this week and one swim :)

Looking forward to payday, hoping a little left over after all car cost etc to at least make a small overpayment to the mortgage even if we dont have enough to add to our premium bonds, going to be extra careful with grocery spends to achieve this, my meal plan for next 10 days organised, and tesco delivery from strict list delivered today, im determined to achieve our goals for August :):) 2016

What a lovely day! the sun is shining, and very soon i will be out enjoying a lovely country walk with my hubby:love:
This morning ive done house clean, and have two loads of washing pegged out ;)
Money saving- im still doing really well on groceries, and after i sent an e.mail to tesco regarding meat with next date expiry date in my delivery AGAIN, i had the cost of the meat refunded, AND as goodwill they sent me an online voucher for £5, so thats a saving already off next weeks shop :T:T:dance:

Im also sticking to meal planning, as well as good for diet, its helping save a lot of money.:):)

I still havent spent my£22.50 winnings, in fact other than bread and yoghurts, ive spent 0 the last few days!

Im really hoping with all these savings i will be able to make an overpayment to the mortgage on payday after all the car expenses etc are paid.:)

Have a lovely weekend everyone :):):):)

i spent my £22.50 on saturday night drinks/treats, for hubby, son and myself to enjoy whilst watching a dvd, well earnt by us all, we all are working hard and a little treat out of a windfall wont hurt :)

Karma must be smiling on us this week, hubby and i get one line on lotto with birthdays, and we won £25 last night, so i got the treat money back really, we split it , £12.50 each, i always split any winnings 50/50 with hubby, this is a little bonus treat money :):)

We have just returned from lovely walk in the countryside, and we had a picnic overlooking a beautiful valley, even took a little picnic for naughty spaniel, she loved it!

    Back home, and ironing awaits:o

Heres to another money saving lucky week :j

Looking forward to paydays, mine friday, hubbys 28th. Even though this month all spare cash has been allocated to pay c/card used to pay years car tax/mot/essential repairs, i get strangely excited doing next months budget and planning savings goals:rotfl:

Ive come in under budget again on this weeks grocery spends, ive transferred £20 saved into our bill account, anything left after d/ds/card paid will be allocated to mortgage/savings

It is now only 15 months left until our fixed rate ends and we clear this mortgage and then can get this house on the market and start looking for our next, hopefully forever home in a more rural area, and im getting excited more each week, we have worked so hard for this move, and i cant wait!!:j

Hi luckyinlife, thanks for dropping by!

We would like an old doer-upper (we dont mind the work, if it means we can afford the home we want), stone built. We want some land, at least an acre if possible, more would be even better! outbuildings/w.shop for hubby, we want to keep chickens for our own eggs, and i would like to keep the horse i plan to buy at home, so getting enough land to do this is a priority. It all depends on what we find and how much we can borrow. We plan on going to see a broker spring 2016 to see how much we can borrow, we will then know where we stand and can start looking, i cant wait!:)

    What is your rural dream?
