Its really windy, with heavy showers here today, so im getting stuck into the dreaded chores. dogs bed in the washer now, its filthy!, im going to try and get as much cleaning as possible done today.:(

Tonite im trying slimming world recipe chips, with a low fat chicken curry recipe i obtained from a workmate this week, so very good diet wise!:)

I feel a lot better after a week of healthy eating and no alcohol, and i haven't missed it. And the grocery budget has seen the benefits too, an extra £15 out of it already paid to the mortgage this week already!

    have a lovely weekend everyone!

    X Sammy xx :)

£13.43 paid to the mortgage today :j that will be the last overpayment until payday as the accounts are empty until then, i get paid 23rd, hubby 28th. I will leave bill money in bill account, transfer our spending money to the spends account, and the rests going into p.bonds for all our savings goals.

I will make small overpayments from grocery savings/quidco payments/any other extra income.

We have decided to reduce our weekly spending money from £30 each to £20, we really want to go for it for the next 18 months, every penny counts towards our country home :)

i will do any available overtime, and stick to online grocery shopping, as this seems to save us more, my eyes can't drift over treats too which is good for the diet ;)

Todays my day for budgeting/transferring savings to p.bonds etc. We have put hubby and my savings into bonds too, we figured with interest rates so dire, we were better having our hard earned where we at least had the excitement of winning something!:rotfl:

so our p.bonds now stand at £27,000, which break down as-

    Hubby's car fund-£5000
    My horse fund- £2,727.02
    Paying off mortgage fund- £17,257.98
    Kitchen/diy fund- £2015

This month we will continue to be frugal, we will have an expensive month tho, car insurance due, hubbys passport needs renewing, i will try to make savings by being careful with grocery/misc spends.

We had a lovely weekend away, now to get stuck into work and earning as much as we can towards our country home dreams!:)

Had expensive week, we have renewed our annual car insurance, we shopped around and got a great deal, £100 cheaper than renewal quote :j

Overpaid £28.68 today, bill account tidy :)

We have won another £25 on our p.bonds, that should go into the bill account Monday, so we will overpay that to the mortgage too

This weeks grocery spends have come in under budget, thats where todays overpayment came from, leftover grocery spends from our bill account. I will continue to overpay any grocery savings, this will motivate me to careful grocery shopping:)

Have a great weekend everyone :):):)
