i think people are getting to the end of their tethers now, for me its the lack of being able to plan along with all the numerous things that have happened, job loss, loss of loved family members both human and animal, and numerous other things. Sometimes i look at my dogs grave and her little face on it, and cry for everything ive lossed this year her included.

Lovely chicken, sammy! I lost one of my dogs last month and I see something that reminds me of him and just start crying. They're such a huge part of our lives, it's devastating to lose them.
I wish you all the best for 2021 and the fresh start ❤

nearly set for christmas, got chocolate and beer supplies, just a couple of small gifts to get, and xmas eve and day food.. hubby is working a lot over the time, so trying not to over buy as he wont be home a lot of nights to enjoy it, we will make the most of our time together. Its even  harder at the moment, as mum in law has had loads of hospital appointments for various things, ive taken her for at least 2 a week for the last 3 weeks, and another two a week for the next 3 are scheduled, and as most are at times which mean i miss hubby all together as hes left for work by the time i get home, it is quite hard. We live quite away from her too, so its a half day out for me at least just for an appointment lasting an hour, it never fails to surprise me how the family who live close are always otherwise engaged when things need doing..

paid £1300 to the mortgage yesterday, so now stands at £193,520  :)
there wont be much else paid this month , but will make sure when interest is added that the balance doesnt go above £194,000 ..My aim is to try and keep the mortgage reducing by a £1000 a month, so need to overpay at least £250-£300 a month above standard £1226.40 payment.. a 2021 challenge i think!
i must say i much prefer being in control of sending my monthly payment instead of having a direct debit. The £1300 sent yesterday is effectively the 1st Jan 2021 payment, so interest saved already by the reduction in the balance  :)
