Trip to Mr M today armed with a list and I'm very pleased that I only bought one extra thing not on there.:)
Total spend of £10.50 added to my signature.0 -
Has the thanks button been removed?! Good afternoon everyone. I thought I was doing well and then bam we ran out of cereal so ended up at Mr T's for cereal, milk, fabric conditioner and a few other bits...£9.46 spent.
Takes me nearer to £40 spent so far...:eek:anyone know of a fabric conditioner that smells like L*nor?! I buy my washing powder from Aldeee but have not found a fabric conditioner I like.
OH was a bit upset about repetitive food, despite there being LOADS of food in. Grrr.

Hmm - first spends of the month are quite big ones - £47.55 in Aldi, £25.48 in Sains and £12 at the butchers, a total of £85.03/250. However, I had coupons, have stocked up on washing powder, cleaning stuffs, tinfoil etc as well as food - and I bought the Lurpak dish too!
I analysed my spends for last month and am pleased with the range and amount of veg we ate - but surprised at how much cream we have had - partly because of visitors but partly because it is only 85p from Aldi and therefore feels like more of a staple and less of a treat - I shall be cutting down for the sake of our cholesterol. Sugar was high, but I made jam, baked for the builders and have a sweet toothed visitor. Keepting and reviewing receipts really does help to keep an eye on these things
Should only be buying green groceries and dairy for the next few weeks :-)Downshifted

Today's spend was £2.05 in the Co-*p on YS parsnips, YS cauli (which I will turn into cauliflower cheese soup) and milk. Unfortunately the first milk I dropped, and instead of bouncing when it hit the floor, it exploded all over the aisle
.... I offered to pa, but they let me off.
Just made a fig and blue cheese tart using my YS pastry I took out of the freezer last night - first time I have tried fresh figs and also blue cheese.... omg, the combination along with the flaky pastry was out of this world. Still have half left so may eat for dinner tomorrow. Has anybody any other recipes using either of these ingredients please?

We have so much meat in I'm going to have to borrow freezer space from the in laws'We had a delivery, and I found chicken reduced and on multibuy at Mr. T. Plus, I've been making soups for Hubbs' lunches..
