Skinty hugs xx
OH and I have been out together today!! as we are both off work, we went to Camden market and had a long walk round, had a wonderful lunch off one of the stall for £4.
Since being back home, gardened for 3 hours.
Pealed all the rest of the apples, make 3 small crumbles and frozen the rest of them.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Still no news from roofer so I cleaned the floor, littlies have been dancing out there. I haven't paid him yetother than the deposit so I'm sure he will come back to me soon...
Have done a couple of HHI so everything of the line is ready to put away. Just having a cuppa whilst littlies watch the end of "the lady and the tramp" hope its nearly done or I'll have to watch the dancing tomorrow morning on catch up.

Well we made the most of the weather today. It has been torrential rain here. Last night we bought the paint for the kids bedrooms. DH was to paint the woodwork in the hall way while kids and I did downstairs. He was unable to paint wood work as the filling he had done wasn't dry. Therefore, he dragged all of DS's furniture into the middle of the room. He has painted all 3 walls and is currently painting the woodwork.
My car is full up of stuff to go to charity. At least 10 carrier bags full of stuff gone. I've also persuaded DH to put three bags bags of books in the loft too.
Have washed DS's curtains and they are hanging up on the doors at present so they can dry. Hpe to get them back up tomorrow morning.
Feel ready for a nice soak in the bath tonight, a bit achy and tired.
For now, I shall just go and see if DH would like another cup of coffee. Kaz.. I always just rehang curtains straight from the washer.. they dry really quickly and don't need de-creasing as the weight pulls them straight..
I am looking at redecorating 3 rooms now.. as well as the kitchen which is already needing doing!.. I looked at new sofas earlier.. I can't afford any but I looked anyway lol... I found a lovely purple leather one for the back room... but I need a new one for the middle room first ours is shot and the springs have gone in the one in the front room so that is second on my list.. I'll get there.. and I want to save £6000ish over the next 2 years .. OH wants a grand voyager so save we shall, we have extended the lease on the motability bus we have now for 2 years so have that time to save for a voyager.. Wonder where else I can cut costs.. most of it will probably be made last minute in a frantic ebaying frenzy.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
I too am having my guilty pleasure of watching strictly!
Even though I've had family over for most of the day I've actually managed to get a lot done, I have,
Cleaned the upstairs bathroom
Washed up
Washe and hung 2 loads of washing
Washed the bird poo off the car
Watered the plants
Tidied through
Cleaned both tables
Put the washing away
Changed both babies beds
Am also pleased that I've tried really hard to get baby May into a routine of actually going to sleep and not feeding all the time and I managed to get her to go 4hrs between feeds by persevering and getting her to sleep in her cot instead of misreading the signs and just assuming she's hungry.
Oooh I proper fancy James Jordan on strictly mmm mmm0 -

Hi folks, I hope you don't mind me joining in with the fly lady thread, I have found with other threads if I post then it gets done, if you know what I mean. This has worked well with meal planning, and NSDs so I am hoping it will work with keeping things clean and tidy.
Today I have -
Changed my bed and DD1s
Cleaned dd2 bedroom now she's back at uni (needed a riot shield and hard hat for this job:o)
3 loads of washing done
Cleaned the cooker (my worst job)
Quick Hoover around and wiped work surfaces etc. ( de crumbed toaster:o)

Skinty -so sorry to read your story. To lose a baby or a grandchild is something that stays with you for life. Your dd may need some counselling, if not now then later. Most unis have a student counselling service who could help. My heart goes out to both of you.
Well my mojo came back today so I have
Fed the washing machine twice
Mown the lawns
Done 3 hhi sessions
Cleaned the kitchen
Cleared the patio
Doesn't look such a long list in comparison with some of you but I'm feeling quite good. I WILL get this house sorted.0 -
