NY : Delta vs Vrigin vs BA Vs AA

Hi all
Flying from Heathrow to New York (JFK) on Thurs 12th Dec for 4 nights.
Delta : £400 pp
BA : £470 pp
Virgin : £450
AA : £400 pp
(All economy, all same (ish) times AM leave LHR and PM leave JFK).
I think I have settled on Delta. AA has bad reviews, virgin messed me around recently, and the extra £140 (for 2) is not worth it even with free drinks with BA.
Any advice?
Thanks

How much is the BA Dreamliner B787 to NEWaRk ?Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

I would choose AA over Delta. I have flown with all four of the airlines listed and would put them in the order, prices being equal:
1 - BA
2 - Virgin
3 - AA
4 - Delta[0 -

I'd take the £459 to Newark. getting from Newark is easy, both on public transport, or pre-arranged car service (e.g. http://goo.gl/IhHiCz , use the MSE callchecker to phone them)
By far the best deal, if not, Delta are a good airline, and that's a damn good price. Avoid AA at all costs. Awful airline with awful staff.0 -

No (Just wine or beer with the meal from memory) -
How much were you planning on drinking ? £50 each ?
I really like Delta but overall it's all economy so not much to choose between them especially on a relatively short flight.
Never had a bad flight with any of those except Virgin and that was down to poor crew.
The AA 8am flight is fab for making the most of the first dayI Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole
MSE Florida wedding .....no problem0 -
Free non-alcoholic. Alcohol you have to pay for, but it's not too extortionate.0

Not a lot. Just a couple to start the hols. Was going to even order champagne as its a celebration holiday. Though I take your general point.....
