I think we have to agree to differ on customer service. In my book, if a company offers something it's good customer service to deliver it quickly.

A standard 'delay' email sent out to applicants doesn't really fit the bill - and they can hardly insist on the 28 day limit if it's taken almost that to get the card!

I agree with you about extending the 28 say limit, as you say, they havent really got a choice.

I find with the majority of freebies that they take on average 28 days to arrive, thats if they ever arrive so a 3 week delay with an explanation is fine by me. I have applied for many freebies from very reputable companies that never arrive due to overwhelming response which makes sense when they are posted on copious amounts of freebie sites.

Lets hope this one ends well

Once registered they will send you an email and you activate your account and then have £20 of points on your card - works like a £20 gift card.
