The "King Pots" are all up to £1.32 again

But they had Bombay bad boys still £1 SEL.

Of course I knew rightly - got two for free :j:j

Thanks, I don't like pot noodles but i do like the idea of paid for fillers :cool:

A gem in amongst all the rubbish :)
  • Is there anyone here knowledgeable about Tescos policies? I don’t go in Tesco much but my mum does and she bought some chocolates priced at £3 but they charged her £8. She went to CS with them but they would only refund her the £5 difference and told her they don’t give the item for free anymore. This doesn’t seem fair to me as she hadn’t noticed until she got home. She’s 73 years old and had the hassel of getting the bus back because of their mistake. I would have thought she should have got the £8 refund. Am I right or have their policies changed? TIA

The correct answer with the loo roll is A if you are feeling hard up and B if you aren't (or have lots of the £1.75 quilted in stock).

B looks better and more opulent, which encourages peeps to use a lot more. If you are really hard up, put it on A and squeeze the roll too so it doesn't flow so freely. Make a massive difference - most families use it like it's going out of fashion.

The rubbish I know, note to self to get out more...

Good luck to Squills and all other Stoptobers.
    Hope is not a strategy.

    Two Years - I've checked :D

Thanks - hardly ever go to A's as too far away so I think it must be a year old. So still in date - will read back and digest the A's glitches to make the best use of it.

Found another for T's but found it was only worth 1p when I went to use it. :rotfl:

Think it was suggested that at most SS it'll allow up to 2 coupons with a value of less than 33% of total shop before calling for assistance (unless they need a manual coupon value entering). Some stores have their own individual policy though.

Why not just use a manned till? If they scan and you're buying the product there's no problem. Then it's the SA's discretion if they eg accept more than 1 coupon per transaction rather than you trying to hide the fact by using SS. You just need to pick your SA wisely ;)

Maybe those Dove coupons were going to be used for Bath Cremes rather than deodorants :(
  • I'm excited about this! I won free tickets for this in March :j
Well Done :T was my first time last year, I loved it hopefully going again this year, without the dh this time, he got a bit bored, so ill find others to go ;)

No that's not right. Your mum should have been given back double the overcharge, so she should have received £10 back, not £5. Their policy is double the difference. You could try phoning customer services and they might send you a giftcard for the difference.

She should have actually got £10 back under their DTD (double the difference) policy. It's on the blue board behind customer services. "If things don't add up....."

She was overcharged £5 and they are supposed to give double. Think a phone call in order. She definitely deserves a Gift card.

Sorry for having a titter at the bit in bold. :)

They should have given her double the difference, ie £10, so she'd have got them for free and £2 extra. It's on a blue sign behind CS usually, under a heading saying something like "When things don't add up". Ring Head Office and complain, they should send her a gift card and educate the store. It's their own policy, for goodness' sake! HTH.
