There was a really bad one about a couple of weeks ago with a elderly gentleman who was walking home from the pub back to his rest home. He was hit by a car because the sun was shining in the drivers eyes as he exited the round about. He was given mouth to mouth and recovered until Sunday when he died. My Uncle was in the car behind and has to go to the inquest shortly. It just makes you realise how fragile we really are when you see stuff like this. :(

3010 I came round the river Wyre roundabout literally seconds after that :(:( but I didn't witness it. There were about half a dozen cars stopped on amounderness way and people crowded around....no emergency services had arrived. Obviously I didn't know what had happened then, I thought just a bash maybe, and there was already a crowd so I didn't stop and went straight across. I knew whatever it was must've just happened because there wasn't much traffic backed up.

I was horrified when I read the next day what had happened :(:(. The sun was so low and bright that evening, I mean really blinding. I was struggling with it. So sad :(

Also glad you had a good day Emmap and I'm with you on the deserved slapping - it was not funny in any way imo :(

Welcome back Tiger - what did you think of Ryanairs passenger boarding system? We nearly had peeps coming to blows  and apart from a couple of stewards who were obv taught at the T's school of customer service, it wasn't too bad. Did you get the fanfare on arrival? :p:D:p

Have the rules changed re apg acceptance? Yesterday at Asda's Killingbeck, Leeds - presented my apg (below £10) but SA said she would have to clear it with supervisor - which she came and did, but SA then asked me for my postcode?

No, they're doing it all over. They tell us it's to see where people are travelling from. They only want the first part of the postcode

Ours wanted the whole postcode, I just refused. Others on here have made things up, and one even suggested giving the postcode of Asda HQ in Leeds! Well why not :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

We came past going towards the BP garage. Did not notice my uncle there because I could not watch as people were giving him mouth to mouth. Did think should we stop, but there were a lot of people helping. :(
