Hi, from what I can gather I'm in a good buying position. I'm ready to buy, I've got access to the money (with a bit of wheeling and dealing) its just a matter of haggling over the price.

Right assuming you are good to go do the following. Go and visit the other houses in the same area that have been on the market for some time. Try and get a feel for fair prices and even make a cheeky offer on one of those to test the market.

Go back to see your favourite property to see how it compares again and then if still favour this one do the following. Contact the estate agent and say "I am interested in making an offer on this property but I need to get it for a decent price. I have an offer accepted on one up the road (don't say where but do mention the low offer accepted) which the wife likes but I like this one. I am in a great buying position all sorted and good to go on the cash side.....I need to do work on this property so I need to keep that in mind." Suss out if seller in a rush and say "well we can be all done and in there by xmas" - then make your silly low offer!!! The estate agent needs reasons(for the vendor)for a silly low offer and you will have given them 4 or 5:D:D

Was that 5 becuase it came to 30% of your shop? I would prob need 6 in total as it would be for the hampers...I wonder if this works out cheaper than the 345 glitch at A?
everything is always worth a try they can only say no.
im sure you can use as many as they will let you , i have only done 5 purely as not brave to put loads through but saying that i do go T nearly everyday.
just print loads off and everytime you go get some loads better then the S&G stuff from A ..
better to have loved and lost then never to have loved at all.

I want the purple one so if I guess I'll have to wait for it anyway  or maybe just wait until there's another £20 off electrical

Ooooh that's a good idea, wonder if they'll have the £20 off again this side of Christmas though.

Right I'm off for a bit. Been doing well at not bring anything more in the house other than bags of bits from mum's and essentials like bread and milk. :)

Just off to relocate few things I brought back yesterday. OHs aunt said she would cry if she lost anything in my house. Do you think she was trying to tell me I am a bit cluttered. :o

I am sure DD3s wardrobe will collapse one day with the weight of the kitchen stuff on top of it. Had to make room for another dinner service so 3 now and a saucepan set and already loads of pots and pans among other things. All brand new. How I loved that Ts kitchen glitch. :D

MSL app has updated this morning - now shows when cashback offers are running from/to. They do seem to listen to user feedback ... So please pay our outstanding transactions!

Anon, i'm struggling to work out the msl app business model.

My account says 6 offers, Mrs F's says 0 offers.

So they spend the whole week loading up 500 offers for the weekend, then cut the numbers down to 5 or 6.

Oh, i've sussed it, people only shop on the weekends :rotfl:

Did anyone get their £1 back for the choccy cupcakes ?
Back to square one, no apg, no comment.
