What's the best way to respond if they come back asking for that information?

Do I tell them that I am not legally obliged to provide that information and that if they refuse to deal with my appeal as it is then insist they send me a popla code?

All your Qs will be answered when you read other Peel Centre threads, after searching for them specifically.

I have received a letter from Excel parking today and was very surprised that they have cancelled both pcn's!

The letter states that their terms and conditions, which are clearly displayed, state that full registration should be entered but accepts that in this case a valid ticket was purchased. It says as a gesture of goodwill it is cancelling the pcn's with immediate effect and kindly asks that on future visits I comply fully with the terms and conditions.

Thanks for all the help and advice :)

    RESULT! Well done!

That's a few charges concerning wrongly entered registration numbers that have been cancelled by a PPC (PE and Excel to my knowledge).

Very unusual! I wonder if the Peel Centre owners have had a word with their agent about their tactics, seeing as we have been encouraging people to complain to the landowners - including the Peel Centre which has a TERRIBLE online reputation re the parking 'regime' due solely to Excel.

Maybe Excel's contract is due for renewal there and they are on a sticky wicket?! :D

I have to say that I was very surprised, my heart sank when I saw the letter on the doormat.
I did also write to the management of the retail park but there is no mention of this in the letter and I haven't received any correspondence back from them.

:T That did it I reckon!

Would you mind just posting here who people should write to or email to complain about Excel in that car park? Who's the landowner or who runs it please, as managing agent? I want to add contact details of certain landowners to my sticky thread about complaints re PPCs, to help other newbies.

They did cancel BOTH the fake PCNs did they?

It would be good to also know who to complain to at the Peel Centre! :)
