Op have you tried after stalling the car . try using the accerlator pedal too gently press it giving bit more gas might help it re-start when turning key better .
This. A blip of throttle should help it. I had a fiesta that did the same, not after stalling but after maybe 6 or so 'starts' within the same day. Changed spark plugs, battery, then got rid of it cos it was a heap of Ford junk at only 5 years old.0 -
Does the Fiesta have a petrol or diesel engine?0

Yes it does.0 -

Does it do this when the engine has fully warmed up?? (90 Celsius)
If your still in the warm up cycle, then it could be bore wash. This is where excess fuel runs down the sides of the pistons when the engine stops and washes the oil away, causing a loss of compression.
It is mainly town driving. Today I left work, travelled about half mile to gym, stalled it when parking up, so guessing engine would have fully warmed up.0 -

You drove half a mile to the gym? No one else see the irony in that.

Half a mile ain't gonna get your engine up to operating temp...... Not even close.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

So that thing you referred to earlier, is that normal I take it?0 -

On a 10 year old car it's highly likely, on a new car it doesn't happen because the piston rings are new, but after 10 years of use, the piston rings will have worn enough to allow bore wash.... Especially if it's not been serviced properly.
Easy to tell if it's an issue though, just start the car, run it for 30 seconds, turn it off and then see if it struggles to start again.
If it is this, there's not a lot you can do, if it's not been serviced or had an oil change for over 12 months, then getting this done MIGHT help in that scenario.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”
