Aww Happy that's so close now, yay! I'm very excited for you
Thanks for the good wishes everyoneI really enjoyed my days off. No sitting in the garden, but did manage to declutter a few books
.
I also did some reorganising at home and a couple of areas got a good clean. I managed to largely stay off the computer but did get some listing done.
It was a nice break, but it would be nice to have a little longer.
Sales have been going pretty well on ebay. A nice stream of BIN means that things keep going out.
I have sorted a lot more to go on in the future, so will get that photo'd and listed at some point.
I took advantage of the free listing this weekend to relist a load of stuff so used my full 100. I also got a few bits on as well.
I've redeemed several amazon vouchers recently so have been using them to build up a stock cupboard.
We did a car boot sale on Saturday, it was a different one off one. We did really well :T Cleared out loads of stuff which has been hanging around for a while. We were very pleased. Most of the stuff we have left is destined for one or two more sales and then will be off to charity so that will be a lot more gone.
Hope everyone is well"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

Thanks Brizzle
We've managed to book a Sun holiday today. So 4 nights away for just £40. Very pleased about that and looking forward to it.
Annoyingly though my work are being funny about the other week booked so I might not be able to get it offWe'll have to see though, they might still allow it. It's the only time DH can be off so would be a shame if I can't be too (and it's his birthday).

I actually got praised by our MD yesterday, it was quite a shock. He's always pretty much ignored me. I'd had to take charge of a meeting at short notice and apparently impressed. It was nice for a change
Today I'm planning on getting some more stuff prepared for ebay and trying to catch up on surveys."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

Well done on the sales. I think it helps breaking it down into that list that you have - at least it makes the targets smaller and you can feel like you are achieving something even if you don't reach the main overall target.0

Thanks LAM
It does help breaking it down and feels like I'm getting somewhere - though not this month  Not sure what's going on, but I seem to have no money at all!
I did manage to redeem £5 amazon voucher yesterday from a survey site, and I had one for £1 from Swagbucks from the few points that I had managed to build up.
Not sure what the plan is for this weekend. Probably no booting, except for a look around - certainly not tomorrow anyway. Shall probably do more of the usual. Try and do a bit of sorting.
I did a bit of a reshuffle yesterday and sorted a couple more bits for ebay. I listed them as well. I also went through a lot of my BINs and reduced the price on a few bulkier items in the hope that they will sell and I can get rid.
I did have several sales yesterday which was nice, so a few bits more out of the house. I need to try and convince DH to revise some of his listings to try and clear some more. The ebay stack of boxes is literally to the ceiling, and there are two stacks!
The tidying I did yesterday meant that I discovered a long lost section of floor in the middle roomDH promptly filled it again  but it was nice while it lasted.
