Yes, mostly while he's napping, but the computer is in the front room so if I've photo'd and prepared in advance, I can do some of the actual listing while he's playing. I can't physically have the items in the same room though otherwise he likes to help!

Packing is normally done first thing in the morning. I usually am up about 1hr before little jwil so get it done then.

I'm lucky in that little jwil is very happy to occupy himself as long as he gets attention otherwise. He also has quite long naps so I can get stuff done then.

Ah, that all makes sense. I had a lovely phase with toddler star where I used to get up an hour before him, it was so peaceful! Now he's up with the lark, but it doesn't really matter as baby star is up at around 5 anyway

Little jwil sounds just lovely, and it's great if he can occupy himself for periods of time. Toddler star seems to have a lot of 'performing' tendancies - I'm forever hearing "look at meeeeeeeeeee!!" So I'd never get anything done if I tried :p I'm still super impressed with your dedication though, it takes a LOT of effort to not just collapse in a heap at nap time :rotfl:

    Hi Jwil,

Just popping in to say hello. :hello:

Have been lurking occasionally over the past few weeks but not posting. Little Jwil sounds absolutely lovely - how sweet of him to sit and play nicely while you get stuff listed on ebay. :)

I have been getting on with life, having quite a good time actually, but need to concentrate more now on raising some cash and paying off my debts. So I am back, hopefully with a vengeance. :D

Yes I got a 200 free listings - good grief - I found 6 hard enough and the relists were automatic for three times apparently.

What is a park run - do you all run - is like a fun walk thing?

    is baby Jwil better now?
    Hey jwil,

Hope everything is good with you? I am sorry I've not been posting but i've been ill - again! unfortunately i've had to soldier on at work so have not been up to much else. Hopefully all fixed again now though:) but it was grim :(

You are so inspiring - everything you are achieving is brilliant and you sound really motivated :T

Ooh the parkrun - is yours free or do you have to pay? I really should do 1 to get used to running with other runners but the time it would take me to get there, run and get back i could have done 8 miles in that time - although i guess that isn't the point... i just really don't like driving anywhere either unless i have to :o I also need to get faster on my running but there are other factors at play affecting that at the mo.

    Take Care xx

    Thanks guys :)

Yes the parkrun is free and it's a 5k run. The website is here: http://www.parkrun.org.uk/ It's timed so you can try and improve if you want to.

Hope you are feeling better now DDFW.

LAM - little jwil is better now, though still teething so that's all fun. Thank you for asking though :)

parkruns are all free - they are organised by a not-for-profit company which covers its costs through corporate sponsorship. The events themselves are held by volunteers (the idea is that the runners take turns to volunteer and everyone volunteers at least 3 times a year).

They are very addictive and I am disappointed if I can't go one Saturday. Like this Saturday when the tour de France takes over!

    Happy running all!

It was good fun, but I was carrying little jwil so it was very hard work (we walked!). I'd like to take him again when he's a little bigger and walking better.

He is lovely but I'm biased :D. I think I'm very lucky in that he occupies himself. There are some days though where he just wants attention, and currently jumping all over Mummy is the best game in the world!

It does take an awful lot of effort though - I do have huge motivation in that everything that goes out clears a little more space. If the house wasn't so cluttered and I wasn't so skint, I'd be much more easily distracted :D

Little star might turn out to be a big star soon then :D

Hey peaceandfreedom, lovely to see you again, I was wondering how you were.

Glad things have been ok and good luck with raising the extra cash for the debts.

Hey everyone, haven't been around too much, been busy busy busy!

Not sure exactly where I got to last month, but have made a new payment list for this month.

I've carried on as usual, listing etc. We've had quite a few sales too so that's all good. Another big sack of stuff to the sorting office today.

I've got the next three days off :T :T :T I'm very excited about this. Little jwil will be in nursery for 1.5 days and DH will be at work, so my time will be my own :D I'm just going to potter around, do stuff around the house and whatever I feel like doing!

Today I am trying to ensure I'm up to date with all ebay packing and surveys so I don't have too much floating around while I'm off. I'm going to try and stay off the computer as much as possible, though I shall try and get some stuff listed I'm sure.

I sold another two items since I checked this morning :T

I've also redeemed quite a bit from survey sites recently, had quite a bit in amazon vouchers and a £10 sainsburys voucher.

I've been using my amazon vouchers to bulk buy some groceries where they are cheaper or a similar price to the supermarkets. Last week I bought what I thought was 12 bags of pasta, turned out to be 24 :rotfl: Not sure what I'm going to do with all that, DH doesn't like it! I'm trying to build up stores so that I can reduce the grocery bill and have more money to put to the debts. Also it means I've always got stuff in the house if I need it so don't resort to takeaways or have to pop to the shop to get something and then spend £20!
