I'm hoping to get a lot listed this afternoon. Have to take little jwil to the docs later though so will see how I get on.
I've sold another couple of bits and someone enquired about another item, so hoping for a sale there.
Another couple of bills are now heading my way - RAC membership is due next month, and our toilet needs repairing, so we are getting that and the boiler serviced at the same time.
Must keep at it!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Keep going jwil..you are making progress.
Hope little jwil is OK. How's work? I seem to remember it was a bit rocky for a while.MFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

Thanks Brizzle, he's fine. We've had a few really tough nights, and he's developed yet another nasty cough, so I just wanted to check I wasn't missing anything. Just got to wait for it to clear. I'm pretty sure he's teething again too, so that won't be helping.
Job's ok for now, starting a 'new' role soon. It's pretty much the same job I'm doing now, but with a new title and a few adjustments as we've had a restructure.
Still big cuts looming in the future though from several angles, so I'm taking it as it comes. All's fine for this financial year at the mo though."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". I did manage to get some more listing done yesterday so fingers crossed for some sales
I've also had a few sales from items I converted to BIN yesterday as well :T So a few more ££s to add.
Unfortunately the money raised is covering other expenditure - i.e. the birthdays and that at the moment, rather than my target but hopefully I can get back on with it soon.
I did redeem another £5 amazon voucher from a survey site the other day, so that's good too"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
I'm getting bored with the food we are eating at the moment, so want to build up a storecupboard and try and get more variety.
Does anyone have any suggestions for cheap but healthy meals? What do you all eat?
We don't have much in the way of yellow sticker bargains here, and I'm pretty much stuck with the supermarkets.
I'll eat most things, DH doesn't like pasta and rice, but I can often get him to eat those things as long as I give him chips with them.

I managed to sort and photograph two boxes of stuff yesterday. I didn't get any listed as I was listing stuff for DH.
It's free listing this weekend, so at last can get some more on and do some relists to hopefully clear some stuff.
I've just redeemed another £10 amazon voucher from a survey site and £3 from pcone.
It's looking good for the weekend, so I expect I'll try and sell at a car boot, I could do with some extra cash so that I can start using my sales money back for my targets again.
I've sorted out all the birthdays and other events for this month, so hopefully I can start paying things down again now.
I won £25 on the lottery the other day :T Am aiming for the big win tonight"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Whoo hoo to lottery win - hopefully just a warm up for the big one
I have listed nothing on ebay this week - really need to do some this weekend.
Hope baby Jwil is doing better. Gorgeous weather here so hopefully we are all in for a good weekend. happy booting if you go.
As for healthy eating I am afraid we are terrible. we too have chips most of the time but am lucky enough to own an actifry so slightly healthier (well that's what I tell myself). we eat a lot of pasta and a lot of mash. OH a builder and has a big appetite.0 -
Hope you have a lovely weekend too LAM, it's glorious out there!
Little jwil seems a bit better, last night wasn't so bad but I've got the cold now!
I hate chips, but DH will eat them constantly if he could. It's my softener to him to try something differentLittle jwil loves them too

 No free listing for me
We've got it on DH's account, and on the joint account, but not on mine.
Oh well. Because it was for both BIN and auction, I converted a load of items on our joint account to BIN, and sold 3 within minutes! :T :T
I also won £2.80 on the euromillions last night. A little less than I was hoping forI bought a scratchcard out of the proceeds and won £100 :T :j :T :j :T
That will be a nice help this month.
Still umming and ahhing about doing a boot sale today. I ought to, but I've got lots to do around here too. I'll have to think about it.

Yay to the £100 win :T
I can't get on to my fleabay accountit's asking me to reset my password and then not sending me the flipping emails to click on it to do it (grrr) think I might have to set a new account up and lose all my good feedback i'd accumulated (boooo). Not impressed!
As for healthy meals, hmmm if your OH doesn't like Rice or pasta (my staples, I love them and hate chips LOL) I don't really have much to say, do you like salads? DH used to hate them but I made a version of the one we get from the indian and he gobbles it up now lol, I have started to vary it a little (with more salad in it!) and he still eats it! I will eat salad with everythingThe Indian version is an onion, a cucumber and some tomatoes. Just chop them all up into tiny pieces add salt & coriander and mix. Yummy! How about home made currys? You could have rice and he could eat chips? Same for chilli and fajitta (sp?) type things? I love the slowcooker for those sorts of meals
