Sorry, I briefly looked at it and just spotted the send original bill bit.
Has anyone else noticed this?

Did you double check the claiming procedure with e2save? They have recently changed this.

Yeah, im aware of the new price match t & c's. A little different from before but still pritty straight forward.
I just need to make sure I dont miss the claims.0 -
Be aware this is one of e2save's pricematch deals and as such doesnt offer the flexibilty of their other "normal" cashback claims procedures.
You need to send original bills (special delivery is definately recommended) at the exact right time and to a crewe (osps) address.
Remember you can have problems if you have two cashback lines on the one bill.. so bear this in mind!ummm...0 -
I am aware of that.
I do think special delivery is the best bet when making a cashback claim under the price match t & c's with any company - that way if e2save do not sign for it becuase it goes missing in the post i know my money is garenteed as royalmail will have to reimburse it!
I do still think the t & c's are pritty straight forward and they have a cashback team there to answer any question you may have.
Ill let you all know how the cashback goes though!!!0 -
Bear in mind that when you send special delivery with consequential loss (its about £6 each time) this ensures you are protected.
Normal special delivery doesnt include conseqential loss just value of items inside.. and in the case of cashback claims will be difficult to argue should it go missing. Realistically I have always sent normal special delivery as it usually does get there and a signature is always obtained.
But for complete piece of mind remember the consequential loss part.ummm...0 -
Always better to be safe than sorry i surpose g33za. £6 is defo worth it when you get a contract and handset compleatly free of charge!!!0

and with e2save is on the canary £30 rather than the canary £40, so if like me you dont need to go on such a high tariff, you paid £10 less a month.0

Even if you go via special delivery through royal mail then non receipt will not result in them reimbursing the money- basically the voucher you are sending has no monetary value- as such if you read the terms and conditons on the royal mail site all you would get back if max £34 subject to a minimum of 12 first class stamps which is the same as for recorded delivery and even post with a certificate of postage.'Special Delivery Next Day™
99% of all Special Delivery Next Day packages arrive by 1pm or earlier, but if yours doesn’t, the information below will tell you how we can help.
Has the 1pm deadline been reached?
If not, hold tight, it’s almost certainly on its way.
Was your Special Delivery Next Day item delivered after the 1pm deadline had passed?
If so, we’re very sorry and we’ll refund whatever you paid for Special Delivery. An additional payment of £5 will be payable if the item was delivered more than 24 hours (one working day) after the guaranteed time of delivery or, £10 will be payable and your fee refunded if the item was delivered seven or more working days after the guaranteed time.
What happens if your mail gets lost?
In the unlikely event that your mail gets lost, we'll refund the actual loss, up to a maximum value of the service used (£500, £1,000 or £2,500) or up to the market value whichever is the smaller amount. Please apply for this within 12 months.
If you’d like to claim for late or lost Special Delivery mail, you can do so here
Please note that Special Delivery items are not guaranteed for delivery on Saturdays or Sundays.'
You could use consequential loss on top but again not certain if royal mail would honour the amount of cashback if not delivered.
At the end of the day- it is an individual choice but IMO i don't think Special Delivery guarantees you anything more than Recorded Delivery .
Also you know under e2save's stricter price match terms and conditons that they will charge for extra administration
Taken from their terms:Administration charges
Due to the number of early claims, duplicate claims, incomplete claims and multiple claims, we will charge you £10 for each case encountered.
Multiple Claims
We do not accept more than one claim per envelope. We are looking for one correct claim per envelope and we shred all further paperwork. You risk losing your claim altogether if you adopt this practice and the excess paperwork is shredded.Mark Hughes' blue and white army0
