At the prices they charge i think i'd rather make-up a flask at home and take that out with me.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,

So if u got a pint of beer not filled to the top and it had frothy top......
That is different though. You are ordering and paying for a pint. When you go to McDonalds (or similar) you ask for a small/medium/large rather than a pint. I suspect a full medium cup is pretty much a large.0 -
So if u got a pint of beer not filled to the top and it had frothy top......
It depends on the type of glass that the beer is served in.
If there is a line indicating 1 pint, then by law, the liquid quantity should reach this line and the head should be over the line.
However, if a glass that doesn't have a line measure (ie, the glass is exactly 1 pint in capacity), then the bar staff are allowed to leave a head on the beer provided that the liquid quantity is at least 95% of the capacity of the glass.0 -

If it was so obviously under a pint such as an inch I would ask politely if it can be filled up and everyone is within their right to do this, it is better to let it settle a minute or two for this reason, but if we are just talking a couple of millimetres from the top of the glass and you do it every time you get the bar staff avoiding you lol (bubbles burst)"Don't blink. I do this or similar on occasion, normally if I get particularly annoyed.
One occasion about 10 years ago I went to subway for the Sub of the day which I think was £1.99 at the time, I was asked if I wanted the cheese melted which I did. When I came to pay he was going to charge 30p for heating it and as such I said he could keep it then, he soon took the £1.99.
Recently I was walking down the high street and was approached by a member of staff handing out small samples of Bacon rolls, which I tried. I was also given a £1 off anything voucher, as I walked passed the store I decided I would have a Bacon Roll & a coffee as this was £2.50 so I figured minus £1 would be £1.50. When ordering I ensured my voucher was visible, (on a side note they had no ketchup, this started my annoyance), it comes to paying and I get "I don't think you can use the voucher with this", and they got "Don't worry I'll go elsewhere."0
