Primark sale bargains

  • Unfortunately we don't have a Primark in Cambridge...nor do we have a Poundland or anything like that. The University owns most of the city centre (the land and buildings) and is very choosy about who it leases commercial properties to. We no longer have a Woolworths because the University decided it wasn't in keeping with Cambridge's "image" so they refused to renew their lease. Instead we got a second giant Next store.

Must go visit husband's family in Hemel Hempstead - there's a Primark there! :D

(P.S. Nothing wrong with Next as such, but for working in vaults as I often do I don't really want to spend good money on clothes only to get them filthy or rip them to shreds on rusty cans!)

Bother, I can't get to a Primark for ages either!!! It's cheaper than most Charity shops isn't it?

Thread title says it all really. Nipped into Primark last night on a bargain hunt and they had a huge range of ladies vest tops in an array of colours for the bargain price of £1 each. From what I could see they weren't on sale, that was just the standard price. Judging by the crowd of women I had to fight through to get to them they won't be there long!

Hope this is in the right place, I couldn't see a thread on this topic anywhere else :)

    I've been Money Tipped!
Yes we bought some great nut a bit on the small size the 12/14 fits my daughter very well who is size 10 but more or ledss the same as tescos £3 ones.
Also 2 pairs stripey socks for 50p in a bargain bin sizes 4 to 7 fit adult or teens ladies - hint the white with lime green/turquoise ones are thicker and great for 25p a pair but also normal colours.

Smocks were also £2 and lots of cardigans £3 with zips nice emerald/browns
  • If you think those stores are bad you should try going to the one on Oxford Street. I used to shop in the Birmingham one and thought that was bad, the one on Oxford was take one look at everything and leave. The queues were miles long and everyone was like pushing and shoving! Don't think I'll be going there again any time soon!

Hear, hear, I visited it yesterday and the one word that comes to mind is 'shambles'.
It's full of rude people who bulldoze you out of the way, there are more clothes on the floor than they are on the rails and the queues are a disgrace.
To top it off they don't have anything I haven't seen in Hammersmith or Watford!
Third time lucky on WW I hope :j

I've been past that a few times on the coach to the depot station, it always looks mental! Makes you glad you're a few metres away behind metal and glass :rotfl:

I popped into Romford Primark today, was packed as usual. Picked up a smock top thinking it was £8 but it came up at £3 so very pleased :p . BUT a tad annoyed that I couldnt tell what was on sale - nothing was marked down. Does anyone have any pictures of the smock tops on sale? thank you :T :j :rotfl: :T
