  • Ah that explains the EDP then. Glad it will be sorted out shortly. Am sure the paperwork will arrive in due course.

I live with a partner, and I am on contributions based support group ESA.

I migrated over from incapacity benefit.

All I get to live on each week is £106.

I think its gross unfair I can't get a disabiity premium because I live with someone, why should I loose out financially?

It's for people on a low income. Whereas if you had a working partner and were on income based ESA, you'll get little or no ESA.

From migration from IB, to ESA, receiving contribution based only(Support group), I get £112 per week, so I suppose this is some transitional amount left from when I got the old age addition, before it was abolished.

    Lin :)
You can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset. ;)

I get the same amount Lin, I was transfered over from IB and so I get the same amount as I did on that.

If the age allowance hadnt been removed we would get over £30 per week more, no one mentions that benefit cut!
