Hello all.
Yesterday I recieved a letter and it says that I have been placed in the support group and my weekly payment will be £127.
I'm confused as I read that support group is up to £106. Why this extra £20?
Thanks

Was this a fresh claim, or a migration from another benefit?0

could it be the enhanced disability premium that is paid to people in the income based support group?0

Fresh claim. I'm on income-based ESA if that helps. In Support Group and also in receipt of DSA, middle rate care and lower rare mobility.0 -
that would give you...
ESA support group
severe disability premium
enhanced disability premium
i dont know the rates but it seems on the low side0 -
Have a look at the link and work out how much you should be getting. Depending on your circumstances you should be getting some premiums so click on the box at the bottom which says premiums as well and see what you are entitled to:

I can't work out any combination which would give £127 a week.
On your award letter doesn't it say what the payment is made up of?
After reading the link if you think they have made a mistake then you need to telephone them and ask them to explain how they worked out your award.0 -
I work that out to be £181.50 if the OP is over 25/single.that would give you...
ESA support group
