 still poorly, so bored of it now, all the things I could be doing.... oh well that's life I guess....
Hi pd, Don't forget all debts have to be included in the dmp that are in your name. Could you maybe have your name taken off the joint account? An overdraft Is a no no..... I think a diary is a great way to track your progress and it may help others too.
Hi Nic, I see you have already found the support thread, it is my favourite place on here and having read the 3 previous threads is a mind of information. In fact the letters no doubt came from there. The posters are so kind, friendly and non judgemental, there is usually someone around to answer your questions. Good luck with your journey and pop in anytime!Christmas 2020 £109

You have to include all debts in your name, you are not allowed to favour one creditor over another. And yes an overdraft Is credit! Why not give sc a ring and have a chat with them.Christmas 2020 £109

Hi Puzz just checking in to say hello - you will have seen how i'm going on the DMP thread so no need to repeat myself! Can't wait till next week when that first payment hits the creds!!!!! Seems to have taken sooooo long to get to this point. Don't know about you but I have absoloutely no idea how I was keeping up with my min payments before taking the plunge into DMPland - and have realised just how unbelievably stressed it was making me! Hi pd, Shopandscan pays in vouchers, I choose amazon and get £10 every 7 weeks so they add up quite quickly. I also do one poll, ipsos and mysurvey.Christmas 2020 £109

Just thought I'd pop by and say thanks for the draft letters you posted. Me and hubby sat and printed some off to send to our creditors along with a token payment so we didn't miss a payment. I feel good as I feel like I've actually done something myself iykwim?! I'm starting to feel like our dmp is a positive thing and not something to be ashamed of0

Hi Nic, It is a very positive step forward, I know dmp's aren't for everyone but I love mine and unless I sold our house there is no way I could keep going paying all my debts and that was just the minimums. To finally see the balances going down is worth much much more than a good credit record. Good luck with your journey and do keep popping in!Christmas 2020 £109

Hey Puzz,
did you also send a token payment to your current account with the overdraft? did you use a paying in slip for that?
