Some love it some hate it, but I know several people who've met good people on there. Myself included. I would never have met my bf if I hadn't joined that site and honestly he's the best thing that's ever happened to me. I admit it's raised a few eyebrows notably my parents, I admit I actually lied about how I met my bf as I don't think they'd approve of meeting essentially a stranger online, but then I pointed out that I met my !!!! of an ex the "normal" way which soon made them think twice

I don't rate myself very highly but I'd say my bf is pretty good looking, he could have any girl he wanted (still can't understand what he sees in me :rotfl: ) but online dating is much less taboo now.

Pof works for some people. The last person I met on there, think Walter Mitty with a good dollop of kid in the sweet shops oops is that you still actively looking even though you are supposed to be seeing me, put me off for life.

Although I did have a good old snigger at him turning up on an escort agency a few months later, his profile was comedy gold as was his hourly rate, a hundred quid.

The person I met before him was unhinged and I don't say that lightly.

But you'll find people like that anywhere. Pof isnt for me, I don't think online dating is full stop tbh.
