Thought it was a private car park leased by a restaurant or retailer? Complain to them or is there no store or business actually on the car park site?

coupon-mad is spot on. That letter is not an lba or lbccc, so there is no point in replying to it.

At the moment your options remain as:

1 appeal, and try and get a popla code out of them; and

2 contact the landowner, explain the situation and ask them to get the charge cancelled.

If neither of the above works, then wait until you get a letter headed 'letter before county court claim'. It will say it is fully complaint with the practice direction, which is a big fat lie.

When that happens go here and follow the instructions. Come back when you have got as far as you can go and we will help you from there.

Search this forum for LBCCC. Use the 'search this forum' title above the threads on page one of the parking forum and change the default search to 'show posts'.

You will find zzzLazyDaisy's guidance threads on LBCCCs and you will learn so much more if you search the forum for things, hence why I tend to avoid just giving a link that you might have had no idea how to find. Best that you do know how to make this forum work for you (sorry if you do already know and are nipping around the forum but I know I wasn't when I was a newbie!).

    :)

Do post if you have any questions and then show us your draft response to that LBCCC once you've read the advice.

    hi everyone,

I sent a letter in response to the LBCCC and have received a reply letter stating its too late and should have made an appeal within 28 days of the first letter, they have also not provided the POPLA I requested, and this letter just has lots of case examples where they have won ie ParkingEye v Mr Shelly (2013), also an annex with lost of claims where pre-estimates of loss has been raised since POPLA was in place and and parking eye state no judge has rules against them with 11 examples where judge has ruled in there favour.

Please advise what my next step is if any, on a side not I have just been made redundant and cant afford to pay if wanted too

    thanks

Show us a broken link (no http://) to a pic or scan of the letter please. Cover your ID details like name/address/location/refs or barcodes on the letter.

Also please tell us what you said in response to the LBCCC - which they seem to have read as an appeal - but it should not have been 'an appeal'?

Hi, do as Coupon-mad suggests and we'll take it from there

I have scanned the letter (7 pages) and have put it all in 1 pdf file,

    https://www.slideshare.net/jpskiller/parking-eye-reply

this seemed the most relevant example and seemed the best thing I could send, I modified it with my details and highlighted the request for POPLA

That's their standard response, and your next move is as shown in zzzLazyDaisy's LBCCC thread

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4754020

What's the latest with your complaint to the car park management or Store Managers, CEOs et al? They can cancel these which is easier than you'd think.
