Most important question is are you paying for Multiroom? or do you just have the Sky box with FTA channels in the bedroom?

If you are not paying for multiroom the Sky+ functions will not work, no mater how many feeds you have.

Yeah i am paying for multiroom!

So the best money saving option is to buy a second hand Sky+HD from E-Bay etc and then employ a local installer to run an additional feed from the dish to your new box. You'll also need to pair your new box with your existing viewing card by calling Sky. Don't forget your new box must also remain connected to the same fixed and operational phone line as your main box in the living room.
  • Been offered a new sky hd 2tb box for £64, anyone know if this is a good offer? I said no to that offer the sky bloke said he would leave a note on my account if I changed my mind.
