    Thanks

    I went to the website

    uk.shuttle.com

My model is the sg31g2, i went to the downloads section, drivers tab, (i think i have windows xp 32 bit) i downloaded the chipset and lan drivers fine, but the audio one is a zip file and when i click the setup.exe file on there nothing happens?

Also when i downloaded the vga driver it went through the install process and then said "the computer does not meet the minimum requirements for the installing the software"

the monitor is conected via dvi so m not sure if i need vga anyway?

Did you unzip the folder in the first place? Then double click on the setup file within the unzipped folder? You will then see the InstallShield wizard... when complete, reboot.

For the video Driver, you need to read the instructions that come with the Driver.

  • Yes, that's the one.

    Thanks

I extracted the vga driver to desktop, i read the read me file. I followed it all the way until it got to point number 9.

    1. Click "Start" then right click on "My Computer" icon
    and then click on properties.

    2. Click on "Hardware" Tab and select "device manager".
(NOTE: IF UPDATING DRIVER GO TO STEP 3B)

3a. Double click "Video Controller (VGA Compatible)".
    (Go To STEP 4)

3b. Select "Display adapters" then Double click on the
    graphics controller shown.

    4. Click on "driver" tab and select "Update Driver".

    5. Select the following option: "Install from a list or
specific location (Advanced)". Click on the "Next"
    button.

    6. Select the following option: "Don't search. I will
choose the driver to install". Click on the "Next"
button. (NOTE: IF UPDATING DRIVER GO TO STEP 8)

    7. Select "Display adapters". Click on the "Next" button.

    8. Click on the "Have Disk..." button and then the
    "Browse" button.

    9. Enter the directory where you unzipped the file you
downloaded, and then enter the "Graphics" subdirectory.
For 32-bit highlight the "igxp32.INF" file.
For 64-bit highlight the "igxp64.INF" file.
    Click on the "Open" button.

When i click on the win2kxp file that i extracted to my desktop there is no "graphics" subdirectory. Just a read me file and the setup.exe file which un packs and then throws up the error msg:

"the computer does not meet the minimum requirements for the installing the software"

    Thanks

The first link you gave just throws up the same error msg as above, after i run the setup file.

the 2nd link i used to extract the files to desktop, i would the filed talked about here:

    "
    9. Enter the directory where you unzipped the file you
downloaded, and then enter the "Graphics" subdirectory.
For 32-bit highlight the "igxp32.INF" file."

But when i select to open that file it says " the specified location does not contain information about your hardware"

How do i find out which bios im running please mate? i had a look in regedit under "hkey local machine, hardware, description, system" but its not there...

    Thanks
