Royal Mail redirect my post to my ex

When wife left me out of blue, bit later RM sent me a letter saying they were redirecting her post, but it would not effect my post. Yer right! I had my solicitor letters addressed to me, incorrectly redirected to her. They had the Royal Mail redirection sticker on. I then had to collect my letters from the solicitor as didn't trust the post. Logged it twice with RM. No idea if I am getting my post now she won't talk to me. I just want compensation for having to collect letters and for spending ages on the phone to them to get it sorted.

The trouble will always be prevelant when the usual postie is transferred, off sick, is promoted and you end up with a new person having to cope with a complicated standard 'walk', never mind those who want to have their mail elsewhere - that has a lower priority, as well as those who have formally opted out of unaddressed mail (fat chance).

Things are not going to get any better.
