Do I detect a slight hint of frustration here?

At which university did you achieve your First Class Honours in perception? :rotfl:
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I think it's great to have our own mini version of a Flame Pit where frustration can be expressed in a humorous way.

I'm sure it will help prevent us railing at newbies with their groundhog day questions ............ Perhaps! :D

I'm not going to discount the previous posts, but to be fair to a lot of people they find a thread and ask questions because google is great or terrible at doing that, depending on you perspective. So would you rather repeat the advice over and over instead of them getting it wrong?

Is it frustrating? Yes! Does it drive people nuts? Yes! Does the advice change on situations ? Yes, so give people a break. What would you rather do like on CAG who advise still to ignore, and they win 100% of the time in court, or giving people the reality?

If you really want things to change, ask mse to close all threads that are more than a year old, I'm fed up of asking
When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

  • Bump. [of a meaningless thread]
  • I got another letter today from the same address but a different named company.

I'm not going to say anymore and let you use your telepathic powers to see what it says.

A few from the past couple of days:

I've just been given, by people who know all about this stuff, the easiest, fastest and surest way to get rid of this PCN.

But what do you think if I ignore your advice and do it this other way instead?............

Not forgetting that the MSE forum search is, shall we say, temperamental at times and doesn't always return useful results?
  • Actually, I have a confession to make. I searched on MSE recently for threads relating to a particular location. I got half a dozen hits with fairly recent posts so started reading, only to realise somewhat belatedly that although ther had been some recent posts at the end of the thread, the actual OP was pre-oct 2012, and the info was out of date. It really is THAT easy for the uninitiated and unwary to inadvertently get sucked into a wild goose chase.
