New partner/kids/ex

I have told the kiddies, back in late October, then a week after that, Ex was at the house to collect the children, started an arguement with me, during which he shouted in the kids faces "do you know your mother had a boyfriend?"
I calmly replied "yes, they do"... my son didnt go out with him on that day because shouting scares him, he wanted to stay at home, my daughter did go out with him.

at least now I can see what it is like to be with someone who doesnt take every oportunity to undermine me, or belittle me, or embarass me in front of the kids. To actually communicate with someone and feel like they are really listening to me is the best feeling.

And on our date this evening he gave me flowers, "just because"..
