    Good morning!
Have read the thread in about three goes, so have now forgotten most of it!
But I do remember your hair Aussie;) I think it sounds most original, and you should leave it as it is:rotfl: :rotfl: Think of the fun it'd give the folks back home to see you like it:D

scuzz, hope you get the hotel sorted! Funny isn't it how they never seem to make mistakes in the customer's favour?
((((hugs))) to kyle, twink and lo (who since Aussies post I think of as Lorenzo!!!!)
I had planned a big clear-up of the house today, thinking we'd have bad weather, but it looks like another glorious day, so I'm off out to commune with the garden:D
Just need to smother myself in factor 50 first.

Hope you all have lovely days,
    CMx
Nearly forgot, we're having meatloaf by special request tonight!!:rotfl: :rotfl:
You never get a second chance to make a first impression.

Morning all and those to follow..

N9eav, thanks for posting the chicken recipe, it sounds delish - might even give it a go tonight cos I forgot to take any meat out of the freezer this morning grrrrrr!!

Oops, sorry to hear about the interviews, I noticed on DFW that AQA were recruiting again, why not give that a go? Any excuse to sit in front of the internet all day if you ask me!!

Well having a fairly stressful day (which is not unusal of late!), my childminder's mother had to have emergency heart surgery last night and so I was without a childminder today and had to ring round to see if anyone could help me last night. Luckily a neighbour is helping me out today but don't know what I'll do if it goes on much longer...

I feel like feigning illness and going home early then calling in sick for the rest of the week!

Hope everyone's having a nice day, the weather was absolutely glorious here this morning. I walked across Tower Bridge (over the Thames, for those who don't know London!), the sun was shining and I just wished that I was on one of the little boats going up and down the river.

Congrats Catowen - but you must be already smart as you are on here!!

Morning everyone, and ((hugs)) to anyone who'd like one.

Congrats to anyone finishing exams, now is the time to find those idle hands some extra chores Mrs_M :j so that you can have more time sitting the garden :j or doing whatever else you enjoy.

Nothing much to report, leg steadily improving, been told that it should be back to normal in about 6 weeks, so that is just in time for Spain.

    Take care

Well the chap is here fitting the water meter, at first he was a bit doubtful, but when I explained that we PAY for water through our heating payment he backed down, don't think he fancied a pasting from a senior citizen, at the mo he has his head in the sink unit, the stop tap is right in the far corner, so all we can see is his bum!!!!!

Will then have to ring and arrange a payment through DD for the water, and believe me we will be reading the thing every week, after out experiences at the old house.

Went down and put a load of washing in, so its all dry and neatly folded ready to go away, just a couple of 'best' tee shirts to iron...............so much easier that when I used to hang it out.

Got rid of the mower and an airer on freecycle yesterday, so a bit more gone. Alomst at the end now, a few more things I need to ditch.....and then a huge amount of fabric to use up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Off to B & Q and the lottie after lunch...waiting for a cheque from an ebayer, did not arrive today as expected..................

    Morning :hello:

I woke up feeling knackered this morning - not really sure why, as I'd only had a couple of glasses of wine last night followed by 7 solid hours' sleep. Consequently I am feeling very unmotivated today  - I have a MS job to do at lunchtime so at least that will get me out of the office and then perhaps I will get my brain back into gear for the afternoon.

Got a call yesterday from my cousin, the one who lives near me - at the weekend her sister is visiting, and one of our other cousins (who I haven't seen for years as he lives at the other side of the world) is also spending a few days. So the plan seems to be that we will all have a BBQ on Saturday evening :j :j

I've taken some advice from my ex on buying a new laptop (not sure if this is a good idea as he advised me on the last one - lol!) and think I'll be ordering it TODAY  as Dell have a £50 discount deal on which is about to expire.

Lunch will be HM chilli and rice - yum! - but haven't decided about dinner yet and I need to do a shopping list for a MAJOR grocery shop sometime in the next few days.

    Love Rzl xx

    Afternoon!

Have totally wasted this morning. Only managed to strip the double bed and stick one load of washing on. Have no motivation whatsoever. :o Just been browsing on here all morning and done nothing productive.

I need a good kick! Right - need to:

    1. Post book sold on Amazon
    2. Take photos of stuff to list on ebay. (It's a 10p listing day tomorrow everybody!)
    3. Hoover round upstairs.
    4. Change sheets

I'll leave it at that for now. More chance of getting stuff done if I keep it small. :o
