AIME - weather does look good here this morning doesnt it!:)

Busy day ahead today. Usual school/nursery runs and then off to the gym as normal. After that I have work to do and deliveries due in, my stock cupboard needs a good clean up again and the ironing pile needs tackling!

N9eav - those recipes look lovely! i will be trying the chicken one for sure!

Scuzz - hugs for you, hope you get some sleep tonight:)

Catowen - That is nice for your ds friends mum to send stuff over for dinner! my sons are on GFCF diet and I worry about them eating things they shouldnt when they are out and at other peoples houses so thats really good of her!

Queenie - How is the gym going for you? I go everyday (during the week) and I love it!

Mrs Mix - good luck to your ds!

Hopefully we will get the SATS results in soon, my ds is getting impatient! lol

Still no kittens as yet...how wrong could the vet be! She said within a week...and that was over three weeks ago now, poor cat she is almost wider than she is long! and now waddles like a duck:rotfl:

    Morning all
Another gloriously sunny morning here in Berkshire & still very busy, a work collegue has asked me to take up some curtains for her, so must try to get those done this week, I'm still feeding next doors cats & watering all their plants. Thumper and Ogden have had their morning chat, been fed & watered & let out to play, the fish have also been fed. I got in to trouble yesterday for having an untidy desk, so I stuck a sign up saying 'A tidy desk is the sign of a sick mind' I work in a room on my own & do all the reprographics & resources, my desk doesn't affect any one else, so I wasn't impressed at being hauled over the coals just because someone is suffering from PMT!
Hope everyone has a nice day.
    Hugs
    Hester

    Morning everyone

Lovely bright day here, but work again, so no gardening today :(

N9eav, sounds like a hard day, don't overdo that golf ;)

Boiled egg for breakfast, and lasagna and oven chips tonight. I dug some of our first potatoes yesterday, and we had them for tea - they were lovely, and tasted so much better than bought ones.

Going to watch the apprentice tonight, nothing against Simon, but if he wins I might apply for the next series :rotfl:

Hope everyone has a good day x

    Hi,

    Thx for the recipes N9eav
    Good luck to DS Mrs_Mix

Packed lunches done and jelly made for 2moros/Fri's. DD1 munching on b/fast and DD2 still asleep (in my bed again!!). Need to quickly clean fish out and feed dog before starting on washing/dressing etc...

I've defrosted some breaded chicken breasts (99p for 2 reduced in Morrisons) and have got some parboiled pots w8ng to be sauted for dinner 2night with fresh carrots.

The sponsors for my parachute jump are slowly starting to trickle in - think I've only got bout 300 to raise!! I want to do it before the end of July (my 30th so will have to put my skates on) - has any1 got any ideas of how to get more? Is it rude to stop people on the street?

At work I need to arrange DD1's b'day party which I've done no preperation for at all (PANIC ALERT!!) It's on Sun 24th - I haven't booked anywhere and can't have it at my house. I looked in to hiring a local hall which would cost 31.50 and be available from 3.30-7p.m. Its next to a park so we could split them in to groups and have half in the park and half in the hall. She's specified running races, egg n spoon races and sack races!! I really want to do it as easily as poss coz I'm going to be stressed out enough with Not-D-ex there. I'm thinking maybe see if local sports centre is free coz they've got a small ball pool and we could have half in the ball pool and half in the hall (she wants about 20 friends). On fri I'm going to start on the s/wiches and cake and freeze them. Its hard being a grown up some times!!

After w**k and picking DDs up I need to bath dog, ring landlady re: fence and gardener, need to buy a plastic dog basket, towels, 2 bras, DD1 needs a new bed so want to shop around for that and then there's all the bits and bobs that I need to do that I've listed on my thread on DFW, and then theres the housework/washing/ironing and I've got a banana to make in to cake and cooked off rhubarb to make in to crumble......... there was me lying in bed last night thinking what a good productive day I'd had so I would take it easy today LOL My to-do list ALWAYS seems never ending - I think that's why I get down sometimes but I suppose every1's in the same boat.

Hope every1 has a gr8 day and ((((HUGS)))) to those who want/need them (including 1 to me!!)

    Luv Jxxx

    Good morning

    this is early for me!

sun is going to shine (i think) so washing just on ready to hang on line when ive done playscholl run, doing ds3's(Owen) bedding everyday as he has managed to get his finger infected from a bite, looks alot better today than it did yesterday, poor little mite, it was fine monday night by yesterday morning it was well horrible.

Getting really excited (stupid i know) have my first fuit/veg box delivery, only trialing them if i like it will order regulary also 1st box was half price which is a bonus.

ironing to catch up on this morning and missed my sunday kitchen cleaning so will do that this afternoon.

my large cupboard needs a good sort out so no doubt lots for freecycle dont have a video anymore but there is a huge box of videos for me to find homes for as well as lots of other junk, ive been given a 2 year old cooker so i need a space to store it untill i get moved.

just 2 days to go untill me and the kids are officialy counted as homeless:eek: i may just be able to get on the council list back home now.

thats enought ramblings from me, hugs to all who need them

    Good morning all!

Lots of ((((hugs)))) needed all round by the look of it.
Hope mix junior does will in exams.
n9eav - have fun with the golf - I like the look of the peanut butter cups (well, and the chicken, but anything with chocolate anywhere near will always get first look in with me!:D
Kyle & twink - how is lo?

What's on on the Chipps household today? Well DH is still off work, so he and I will go to the church coffee morning, then DS wants to go into the big town to get some warhammer stuff. He will have to do some "school"work first, otherwise no way! (although I want to go there, too, so I expect we will!:p )
This evening is the club I help with at church, for 5 - 9 year olds & I am supposed to be telling the story this week. I hope I'm ok, cos I have had a very bad sore throat for the past few days - not sure if it's hayfever or a cold - or even a combination of the 2. Oh, well, if I am a bit quieter than usual maybe the kids will quieten down so they can hear me...... yeah, right!:rotfl:

    Have a good day, everyone!:hello:

    Good morning everyone,

Queenie and dlb hope your DSs are feeling better soon. Also, dlb hope you manage to talk to your DSis once she has calmed down. You have to put your DS first, as you rightly said.
Jamie I feel so sorry for your poor kitty. I was pregnant through the heatwave of 1992. It was sooooo uncomfortable and I was only carrying one. :rotfl:
Jet77 Could you perhaps ask at school if you can post in their newsletter asking for sponsors?
fizzle hope you get your housing problem sorted soon.
kyle and twink (((hugs))) Hope LO is doing fine.

Well, I went to the non-feeder school Parents night at DD's new high school last night. (Does that make sense?? ) Very informative and the staff are ever so helpful. DD has a taster day tomorrow and she can't wait.

W**k today. Another busy day ahead as I suspect my boss is planning on surprising his wife by taking her away for their anniversary on Friday. So he will be trying to clear his desk (onto mine  ).

Dinner tonight is steak pie with pots and veg for DS and DD and something from the freezer for me.

Need to get the recycling and bins sorted when I get home. I hate leaving it till the last minute.

Slept better last night so feel a bit more energetic. Hope it lasts.

Have a wonderful Wednesday everyone. xx

    Hello possums :D

Well plans today are going for a walk before the rain sets in & look for a hairdresser. :o I tried to remedy it last night but ended up making it worse. :D I now have a auburn mowhawk strip running up the middle of my hair. :rotfl: My delve into OS hairdressing at home has failed miserably. Might just stick to experiments everywhere else.

Oops a daisy Hope you feel a bit better today and I'm sure you will be able to get work soon. ((((((((((hugs))))))))
dlb Good idea to wait until she contacts you. It's a shame you didn't manage to talk to her first and do it your way.

Ok, best start making tracks. Have a happy day all. Byeeeeeeeeee
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

    Morning All

(((hugs))) to those not well, or with little ones under the weather.

Quick post as just about to do the school run. Its hot and sunny here in Essex so will attempt to clear washing basket again. 1 load in wm. Have emptied the dw and wiped kitchen down.

Lamb chops out for oh & my tea kids will have macaroni cheese. Think will barbeque the lamb with some sauted potoatoes that someone mentioned. Am off to my favourite village for a mooch around the shops, need to pick up fathers day cards (got the pressies online). Will have a posh coffee whilst Im there.

Return home to more washing and paperwork - will have an hour in the garden before I start though. Have made a decision that housework will be left until my paperwork is up straight. At least until my end of year is done.

Anyway best be off - Aussie I know is not ms, but I always have my hair coloured at the hairdressers, I also can not do it myself and the bathroom ends up the same colour as my hair - hope you get it sorted ok.
