Hi,
My dd needs to use a trolley bag for school due to muscle issues, problem is the size of their lockers were talking 55cm height by 26cm width.
I am having great problems sourcing one, does anyone have any suggestions of what she should carry. I am trying to avoid rucksacks due to the weight of all her books, but if i must, can anyone suggest some good ones for kids?
Don't know if this is the right section to post, if not pls move.
Thanks in advance

When does she need to put her school bag into her locker? It can't be that often?
If she needs a special bag, can she not ask for somewhere to store it on the rare occasions that it won't be with her?"One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened."
Because by then you've blown your chances. That's it."0 -
Definitely speak to school, if she has some extra needs I'm sure they will find a way to accomodate, even if its photocopying the pages she needs as and when, to avoid the need for carrying lots of heavy books. Or a second set of books, one to leave in school, and one for at home?
Hope you get something worked out.Bossymoo

What about one of those wheely suitcases, e.g.:

Could she use something like this with a normal school bag/rucksack:

This is very expensive and I'm not sure if it would fit in the locker:

How about seeing if you could squeeze this one in0 -

She needs to transport her books around between lessons & to and fro from home. There is no where to store in the school as its massive! No one said it was gonna be easy!0 -

Have already had a meeting, as this is the first week, its taking time to filter down to staff what they need to do. She is getting an IEP in the next week or so, hoping that will make things easier!.No one said it was gonna be easy!0 -
