Time to separate Rafflecopter comps in regs?

  • Just to stick my oar in on this one, I'd like to see twitter & facebook in separate threads too, or even in separate sections, because I think it'd make entering them or ignoring them so much easier if similar types were kept together.

I'd like to see the following competitions posted in seperate threads:-
    All Man United Comps
    All comps that say 'Effort'
All 'local' comps that are not within 50 miles of Manchester
Any competiton that is for a baby prize
Any comp that requires a newsletter sign up
Any facebook comp that requires a 'like' and 'share'
Any comp which requires a form being filled in that takes longer than 3.5 seconds
    etc etc etc

Or then again, I suppose I could just scroll past the comps that I don't wish to enter and not get upset that someone dared to post a comp that I either cba entering or didn't want to enter

I enter rafflecopter comps but only from the main board, I don't think I've ever done a daily retweet so I would be in favour of them staying on there.

Saying that, I rarely venture on to the daily thread (except for the magazines) because there are loads of RC comps and it's quite tricky to find the non RC comps.

Hopefully my opinion helps a bit.

I am another one who would vote for them to be in a separate thread. In fact I have given up going through the Dailies as it is just completely overrun with RC comps.

But I do appreciate it is difficult to accommodate everyone. My vote suits me as I am at at work all day therefore only have a couple of hours at night at the most to comp so for me, I concentrate on other comps and quite honestly do not have the time to go wading through the Dailies looking for new ones as it is too time consuming with all the RC comps in there.

In an ideal situation I would like to see a separate thread for Facebook, Twitter, and Rafflecopter comps and I think it would make the board much more manageable.

Same for me. Although I do realise it would be a lot of work to start separating them all - but definitely RC.

I'm generally against separating up comps on the board any more (if you start doing it where do you stop and you'll never please everyone etc...)

I would say however, that I've given up looking at the daily thread however, due to the sheer amount of Raf's on their with a daily tweet (not complaining as they should be on there but just can't deal with going through them all).

I do have one thought however, how about having a seperate thread in the regulars for comps that you enter daily for the same prize and those with daily entry for different prizes?

    So you've would have:
Dailies (different prizes) e.g. the current Heart comp, the glamour/easy living dailies and times hourly comps

Dailies (entry for the same prize) e.g. most rafflcopter's/the nisa ones that allow 100 enteries, the femail.au comps etc..

    Weeklies

    Once only

I'm just throwing it in there as an option, it wouldn't solve everything but might help....???

Basically you are saying several daily threads which means each type of comp in a different thread

Which is the same as putting RC's in there own thread really just you would split them up further

    hope that's what you meant?

I'm never very clear when I write these things, makes sense in my own head!

I'm suggesting having two daily threads (so just adding one more thread than we already have)

One where you enter the comp daily but for different prizes (and therefore in essence separate competitions) so like with the glamour daily you need to enter on that day for that day's prize.

and a seperate thread for comps which you can enter daily but you just get an extra entry in to the same comp (so yes this will be a lot of the raf's but not only those).

It's just to me these types of comps are different creatures

    Does that make sense?

I must admit my suggestion is completely selfish as generally I'm only interested in the comps with different prizes each day, any other comps I just enter once and hope for the best!

P.S. yes, I know this is still separating the boards up further which as I say I'm generally against so I'm a complete hypocrite really but hey ho as I say just a suggestion
