Time to separate Rafflecopter comps in regs?

  • there is a section in the dailies board for them - perhaps if there is one in the wrong section we should ask for it to be moved

  • I am another one who would vote for them to be in a separate thread. In fact I have given up going through the Dailies as it is just completely overrun with RC comps.

But I do appreciate it is difficult to accommodate everyone. My vote suits me as I am at at work all day therefore only have a couple of hours at night at the most to comp so for me, I concentrate on other comps and quite honestly do not have the time to go wading through the Dailies looking for new ones as it is too time consuming with all the RC comps in there.

In an ideal situation I would like to see a separate thread for Facebook, Twitter, and Rafflecopter comps and I think it would make the board much more manageable.

If the daily's thread was run like the daily mags thread is I.E when a comp is over on the front page it is taken off & when new comps are added to the thread it is posted on the front page, you would only be comping from that front page where all the RC comps would be posted under the RC section on the front page you can easily scroll down past them & onto a section you want to enter

    Just editted my OP...
N.B. to clarify... Am a firm believer that all comps need to be on the main board where they get maximum exposure.
My suggestions (As Cagsd made clearer than me, sorry :o!) was that there be a separate subsection within the regular / daily board as it seems that the RC comps are dominating that thread. This must be frustrating for those that bother to use the regs boards & don't do R/C.
Personally I do, saving them in a favourites file on my laptop and I do the daily tweet if I have time. I have won from them too, tho' they seem to have a mad number of entries for often quite small prizes  :rotfl:

it would be nice if they were on the main board and possibly their own section within the reg comps part. tbh thought don't matter to me, cos I just search rafflecopter and hope ppl put it in their titles.

I do agree some of them really do take the micky with how many likes, follows & email sign ups they want for a small win like a bib!

Some are good & just want you to sign up to their blog & tweet every day

Sorry GB, I misunderstood :o I do take your point re the dailies thread. I never thought of that because I hardly ever venture in there. As MclarenGurl said, perhaps most RC fans do them like me, ie save them separately and don't need them on the dailies thread?

The problem with not putting them in the dailies section at all is that end-date compers miss out on lots of entries.

I personally don't mind whether they have a separate section or not in the Regs board but a separate section means asking somebody to take over the upkeep of that section and it depends whether anyone can keep on top of it, not an easy task :(

Personally I don't enter hardly any RC comps so a separate thread would appeal to me but understand that this is not going to suit everyone. I don't enter FB comps either so the amount of red crosses on my pages is growing & growing!!
