Care to explain? That figure looks pretty accurate to me.

No, you're right. I mis-read the original post.

It was a simple mistake, the self righteous replies made it worthwhile. :D

    I wasn't being self-righteous.
In a thread like this where percentages are almost obligatory to make the point, only 5 posts mention percentages and 4 of those were miscalculated. I suppose the reason for the lack of percentagesis that most people can't do them.
I have tried to show what the calculation should have been and have made no comments, I do feel that your response was not one of someone who is willing to learn from his mistakes.

Guys, give it a rest. Please!

This is a great thread, let's not fill it with silly and pointless bickering, even if it is in jest.

    Is this thread still going?

I may be slow off the mark but only just noticed that following the great shrinking Twix shocker (4x50g down from 4x58g a few months back) it seems like the rest are following suit -

    Mars Bars - 4 pack x 51g also down from 4x58g
    Snickers - 4 pack x 48g down from 4x58g
    Cadbury Double Decker - 4 pack x 54.5g down from 4x60g
    I won't mention percentages! ;)

Old larger sizes still available variously from Sainsbury's & Tesco.

    Grab 'em while you can
(... or not - I've decided to boycott the lot!)
