Does this mean you bought a new USB printer cable?I did buy a new usb socket and still the same.
Did you try plugging the cable into each of the USB sockets on your laptop? What was the result?
You have heard of Google, right? It's where I go to ask questions when I don't know the answer, and want them rapidly. It pointed me at this information from Wikipedia...What is a motherboard please??
