Thanks again

Be careful, Usa2012 has more than 4 years of credit history which really helps when applying for a mainstream card.
Your previous post JCG is not entirely clear regarding how long you have held a mobile phone contract, you have stated that the cc are within the last year. Barclaycard Gold requires a good history of only 3 years in its criteria.
Of course you have nothing to lose by doing the pre-eligibility check and see what it says. You may question anything I say. Just be polite, otherwise you go straight on to my Ignore List, which funds a good old fashioned knees-up every Xmas. Cheers;)0 -
Cheers wiseshark. The mobile phone contract is only from Feb2013, so I may have to wait another 12-18 to build up a solid history before applying for a mainstream card. I am happy enough at the min with the subprime as I pay in full.

Just a quick update,
Received card today, activated no problem and was offered another balance transfer whilst on phone. Just used it to make a £35 purchase online no problem. Also, the direct debit is set in place from their end too as its already showing on my bank account.
Much more optimistic now. X0 -
Just make sure you pay it off every month to keep the good credit you have built up going!0

Will do newbieboy. Thank you :-)0

Pleased you received the card today. As everything has gone through, setup and you've used the card, I think it's safe to stop worrying now0
