When you log in to your account go to the Overview page then under 'My Profile' you should see your membership level with the option to change it.
My profile says PLUS and no option to change. When I click on Manage your membership the next page shows....

if you want to be downgraded you should send in a Support Ticket and they will look in to it for you.

Not sneaky at all IMO.
Topcashback made the options perfectly clear on my account, I chose the three months trial and downgraded at the end of it.
I have always found them very helpful and no doubt anyone who forgot to downgrade will more than likely be allowed if they contact them.0 -

I'm going to ask for a downgrade and see what happens.One day I will think of something profound or witty to use in my signature. But until then I'll just say cheers to all who contribute to MSE. :beer:0 -

mine were similar dates but I was able to change from Plus just now. Thanks to this thread for alerting me.:j0 -
Thank you so much for the warning i have just checked mine I did not opt in either but yes they have put me on the plus as well for £5.00 and the downgrade back to Classic will not do anything. I have told them I will not pay, this is so sneaky and they will loose alot of faithful customers, lots will get caught out. Again many thanks.0

Just spotted this charge on my TCB account today.
I usually stick to Quidco and rarely use TCB, but there was a good TCB deal recently, so I gave them a shot.
Checking my membership details, I can see I was upgraded to a plus membership in June and there is a £5 charge pending since the so-called free trial ended in September.
I definitely did not request any kind of free trial in June.
I've just checked all my TCB emails and there's no reference to any plus membership starting or free trial ending.
I've submitted a ticket, so I'll just wait and see what happens now.0
