Well the complaint to the EU Ombudsman (or really should be Ombudswoman) was submitted on 19th September 2013 ~ 7 months ago! I have continued to monitor progress or indeed lack of it so today I wrote to them yet again ....

I am concerned regarding the considerable length of time it is taking your department to resolve matters in connection with 1581/2013/ANA which was lodged on 19th September 2013.
The airlines continue to use their document to deny legitimate claims and by not denouncing the document you are colluding with them resulting in a one-sided view to the detriment of the consumer (ie airline passenger).
As I see the situation this is a simple examination of the facts and a resolution should have been achieved within 7 days never mind 7 months.
Suppose it will take them 7 months to respond to my complaint!0
