    Dear Sod's Law,

Why do you make my steam generator run out of water when there's one item left in the ironing basket EVERY SINGLE TIME?!

    Yours frustratedly,
    Fizz

    Morning all

2 lots of washing on line
    DW emptied

This is going to be strange - my week, as you may recall, has turned over, so Wednesday is Monday for me now, with my official working days being W/T/F and am on standby for supply/cover on Monday/Tuesday so I may be here or I may not...

Have washed up breakfast pots and stuff which cannot go in DW; gin bottles are soaking in the sink.

I have to plan for work, too.

Thanks for last week's Natty, and this week's Dusty. Good luck with tomorrow Little Skint Dragon with Dragonette and welcome back Mad Cap Girl.

Bins done at the house and cottage, stock made, kitchen sort of tidied, dog walked, batteries in smoke and gas alarms shuffled to find the recalcitrant one. Achieved, I think, but then I thought I'd done so last night and it turned out - not so much - at 1.00am.
    Better is good enough.

Oh bottoms! No2 cat now has a bad tummy and running for her box, must be the chicken as that's the only thing the pair of them have both had. I'll have to bin the chicken that's frozen in the freezer also. What I don't understand is how the chicken has become bad if it was fresh when frozen, then defrosted properly overnight in the fridge and cooked this morning :( Maybe a dodgy one from the butcher, but it smelt fine :(

  • Kerri, perhaps it's a bug rather than something they've eaten? Do they get outside or are they indoor cats?

My sisters dog recently had a very bad bout of gastroenteritis, she was ever so poorly, but bounced back in a couple of days.

They're indoor cats but I let them in the garden when I put the washing out and take it back in again. I guess it could be a bug that one has caught from the other. They are both running round like mad things, so nothing wrong in themselves which is why I thought food.

Just emptied out over 200 emails :) I have 1500 to go whoops!

Old car being collected between 9am and 1pm.
    Vacuum everywhere.[/STRIKE]
Collect last of DH's birthday presents from @mazon locker and get wrapping.

ETA: Kids have chosen a nice tshirt for DH for his birthday, it was in the sale so I still have £15ish of budgeted cash to spend. I have bought him bourbon, a DVD and a CD, any other ideas for something else small? I'm thinking pants :D

Change of plan re: car, man from scrappies wants to buy it off me for a wee but more cash than was offered. He's picking it up on Sunday :money:

I've also WMed x2, basket is now empty :D I need to nip to Sainsbobs for dinner stuff, come home to collect DS1 and then collect DS2 from school. Also waiting on a call from DD to see if she's cheered up, she was very tearful yesterday and is contemplating moving here :) as she misses me and her brothers too much :(
