I'm in for today, but having baby tomorrow so will be out of action And lurk for a while.
The worktops tiles and table had a good clean yesterday, as did the doors, cooker & microwave and a wall had a paint, but this list has all the bits i didnt do so thank u
Nede to sort my cutley draw, and the fridge does need a wipe. Might try and get sone bits done before i take dd to school, then pop to hospital for appointment and then can do the other bits.
Might try to squeeze a wash out of the wash basket, and hang it to dry, on the airer in the bathroom, my pyjamas mainly so that i know theyre all clean when i get home.
Other bits:
Make beds
Hoover upsairs
Sort dd's uniform for week
Make lunch for dd for tomorrow
Clean bath
Clean taps
Check hospital bags
So much to do and so little time.....Still here..... but working on that!0 -
Thanks for the list Dusty. I'm in, as even though I have a lot of general dehoarding work to do, I need to stay on top of the rooms I've already done and reintroduce some order to my life or there's going to be a horrible cycle of messiness. I may be slow, but I'll get there in the end :rotfl:
Monday - Kitchen
15 Minutes..
Wipe out the fridge, note what needs using up or restocking
30 minutes to spare..
Sweep and mop the floor
Wash out the washing machine drawer
Got an hour...
Wipe the surfaces, removing things which don't belong here as you go
Are the spiders coming in from the cold, go on a cobweb hunt
Extra challenge:
Choose your messiest drawer and give it a good tidy, wipe out if you have the time
Renew library books, fill in that form you've been meaning to, check for birthdays in the next few weeks.
My very own extra special list:
- Send eBay parcel
- Load and empty dishwasher
- Get rid of excessive bathroom products - do I really need so many lotions?
- Speak to Orange and cancel contract
- Attempt to downgrade Sky
- Speak to work (forgot I hadn't done this and they're now going to be really snotty)
- Complete meal plan for this week and arrange shopping day with M&D
- Speak to MIL and SIL about baby shopping / meet up / Christmas
- Freecycle / eBay cooker
- List 3 things on eBay
- Whinge at Tesco and Thorntons for their respective incompetence
- Trek down to Iceland for ingredients for tonight's meal - don't forget to use the voucher!
- Sort out hospital appointment (still not done!)
- Keep an eye out for a dehumidifier & new cover for support pillow & iron (oh dear, this is getting expensive!)
- Wash the bedding and remake bed
LSD (is it okay to call you that :rotfl:) I can't believe you're having baby tomorrow and are still motivated to be flyladying! That's really impressivePAD: £4843.10 (loan paid, yay!)
One debt vs 100 days: £288.73 / £750
£20 a day: March £838.97 / £620 April £224.53 / £600
Total debt 04/2015: £13,997.510 -
Morning all
Thanks for the lists Dusty.
Hugs to Mto5
Up at the crack of dawn today - packed lunch made for DD, lots of online admin done, birthday cards written out and stamped and now about to stir the troops. Looking forward to doing the kitchen as I've been tackling the hotspots for about a month now and it is so much easier to manage.

Bathroom got done yesterday eventho you wouldn't think it now, why do children have to use so much powder there's a lovely little dusting everywhere now.

Hi everyone. Can I join in please? I've taken part before but not for ages. It's my first day of maternity leave today, so I have a bit more time on my hands, with baby not due until 10th October. However, before he comes along we've got to move house and get our current flat sorted for renting out! So any help I can get to stay organised and on track would be much appreciated.
The flat's not looking too bad at the moment - it's tidy, but it does need a good hoover and dust. Luckily a 2 bedroom flat doesn't take too long to get clean, provided it's tidy!
My list for today includes:- Chase up solicitor for new house
- Organise Energy Performance Certificate for flat
- Hoover and dust flat
- Ring Tesco to get some cardboard boxes
- Go through larder and meal plan what can be used up
15 Minutes..
Wipe out the fridge, note what needs using up or restocking
30 minutes to spare..
Sweep and mop the floor
Wash out the washing machine drawer
Got an hour...
Wipe the surfaces, removing things which don't belong here as you go

I think if I take it nice and slowly I should get it all done. I've got nothing else planned today anyway! Wish me luck!

For me keeping the areas you have got clean and tidy in order is the way to success.Madcatgirl wrote: »Hi everyone. Can I join in please? I've taken part before but not for ages. Morning all
Everybody away to school/work. I've made a good start in the kitchen, drawer of doom emptied, half the stuff back the rest needs sorting.
WM drawer soaking
Just finishing my cuppa then I'll get the drawer done and have a shower.
Lot to do today and whilst my GUAG is here I want to make good use of it.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
