Thanks for the new list, Dusty, and for last week's inspiration, Natty.

I'm in this week as much as I can be, with the plaster drying on the DR walls as we speak and a day trip to Tamworth tomorrow. (Our friend was supposed to be coming here for a working meeting, but we decided yesterday afternoon that although we are used to living in this house in its state of incomplete decoration and furnishing, it's a bit of a shock to visitors, so we asked if we could go to her house instead.) No tradesmen are coming tomorrow, so we'll just let the plaster dry and the dust settle for 24 hours - but I might manage a bit of flying before we go out. The kitchen is our most nearly finished room.

    Monday - Kitchen
    15 Minutes..

[STRIKE]Wipe out the fridge, note what needs using up or restocking[/STRIKE] - it's clean and full
    30 minutes to spare..
Sweep and mop the floor - errrr, yes, very necessary (but it's still only plywood!)
[STRIKE]Wash out the washing machine drawer[/STRIKE] - done yesterday
    Got an hour...
Wipe the surfaces, removing things which don't belong here as you go- a few bits and pieces to put away, but we need to move the dining room table out again so that I can actually reach the drawers and cupboards!
Are the spiders coming in from the cold, go on a cobweb hunt - I don't mind spiders but I will de-web if necessary

    Extra challenge:
Choose your messiest drawer and give it a good tidy, wipe out if you have the time - that will be the big drawer with all the baking tins, then
Renew library books, - haven't been to the library since we moved
...fill in that form you've been meaning too, - I need to design a voting form *tonight*
...check for birthdays in the next few weeks.
    - it's my nephew's on Tuesday (just enough time to send a card!), my German godson's birthday on Wednesday (will send email), my friend's on Friday (we're taking her out to lunch tomorrow and will take her card with us) and DGD1's on the 24th (must ask DS1 for her "most wanted" list)

I think I can get all of that done ;)

Hope everyone has a good week, especially LW on holiday. Hugs, sticks and spoons to all who need them.

Every one is asleep so having some time alone.

Car needs to go to the garage tomorrow due to a burning smell.

Off to put the kitchen to bed as I'm the expert dish washer here.
