I attended the Trax show. There were an awful lot of small cars on display that looked like they had inadvertently reversed over a dustbin... or two dustbins in some cases.

Just kids really, if you ask a 5 yr old to draw a "cool" car, they'll draw something ridiculous with spoliers on the bonnet, guns on the roof and exhausts front AND rear. Some kids take longer to grow up.....

There's room to properly lower most vehicles if typically it's just used by one person and with an empty boot.
But you may regret it when you load up the car to go on holiday with the family.

I have to put my 18" wheels on when I go to a festival once a year, as the 19" rub on the liners otherwise lol

Ironically on a front wheel drive crapbox, a spoiler on the bonnet would probably be more useful than the usual location of bolted to the rear hatch.

I can also think of several situations where guns on the roof would be useful, but I'd rather have an ECM pod ;)

I did spend a few weeks contemplating how hard it'd be to create a directed EMP device that would disable other vehicles for long enough to get past them without any silly games. Unfortunately science fact isn't science fiction :rotfl:

Actually I was thinking of the anti-radar stuff in an ECM, but I like your idea too.

Never mind anti-radar, just transmit a signal corresponding to an implausible speed, so you can collect tickets for 150+mph in your repmobile ;)

That repmobile will be going away at the end of the year!

Probably to be replaced by a 1.6 diesel Focus :( though that would be more implausible. Currently I'm grumping because the Focus isn't available in purple.

I can vouch for that. When I was a kid I used to draw low slung wedge-shaped cars with huge spoilers and bodykits.

Then when I "grew up" (term used loosely) I bought an old Scirocco. :D
Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?
